TDM introduces Neo Hybrid headphones that can transform into a speaker at CES 2026.

These headphones are truly indecisive about their purpose.

A new audio startup is challenging the notion that personal listening and shared experiences must be distinct. The company, TDM (short for "Tomorrow Doesn’t Matter"), has introduced an innovative product at CES 2026: a pair of headphones that can convert into a portable Bluetooth speaker. They call it the Neo Hybrid, a groundbreaking reimagining of music portability.

The Neo Hybrid goes beyond being just a set of headphones with enhanced volume.

Featuring a smart, modular design, it allows users to switch modes with a simple twist of the earcups. There’s no complicated software to navigate or additional components to attach; just twist the headset, and the outward-facing drivers activate, transforming it into a compact speaker suitable for any setting.

According to TDM co-founder David Brailsford, the goal is to promote spontaneity. He stated that the brand aims to empower users to easily transition from a private listening experience to a social one. This design caters to commuters, travelers, or anyone who has wished they had a separate speaker during a small gathering.

From a technical standpoint, the Neo Hybrid boasts impressive features.

It incorporates four independently tuned 40mm drivers—two facing inward and two outward—driven by dual integrated amplifiers. TDM claims this arrangement delivers a clear, detailed sound profile in headphone mode and surprisingly good volume when used as a speaker.

Battery life is another significant aspect. In headphone mode, the Neo Hybrid is rated for an impressive 200 hours on a single charge, placing it among the best in its category. However, using it as a speaker reduces that time to about 10 hours. In an admirable design choice, the battery is replaceable, allowing users to swap it out in the future instead of discarding the entire unit.

Additionally, users can customize the action of the “twist.” An “Auto” mode facilitates a smooth transition between drivers, but users can also configure the twist to pause music, turn off the device, or serve as a physical switch.

The Neo Hybrid is set to launch on Kickstarter later this month for $249 and will be available in black and white. It will be interesting to see how it compares to dedicated audiophile equipment, but for those who value versatility, TDM’s hybrid could be one of the most intriguing products unveiled in Vegas this year.

You can save $1,500 on a 77-inch OLED TV, which is a noticeable upgrade. If you’ve been looking for a substantial “go big” TV deal, this is it without the high-end price tag. The 77-inch LG B5 Series OLED (2025) is priced at $1,499.99 (originally $2,999.99), offering significant savings. This price point means you’re upgrading not just the TV but the entire viewing experience. A 77-inch screen transforms movie nights, sports events, and even regular streaming in ways that smaller screens cannot.

LG Electronics is developing its next-generation OLED TV as part of the G-series, which includes a new wallpaper TV. According to a report from Videocardz, the OLED TV in question is the LG G6 Evo AI, based on a new RGB Tandem WOLED. The G6 will feature a "Hyper Radiant OLED" panel equipped with "Brightness Booster Ultra," promising up to 3.9 times the brightness of standard OLED TVs.

LG C5 OLED review: a stunning TV when placed appropriately.

LG is the industry leader in OLED technology for good reason.

The LG C5 OLED blends a stylish design with exceptional image quality, especially for films or viewing in dimly lit settings. It is priced more competitively than several other OLED models on the market and has a straightforward design with built-in inputs. While it may not be as bright or as affordable as MiniLED options, which are increasingly prevalent, the C5 holds its own in a competitive year for televisions.
