Samsung seems to be maintaining a familiar design with slight modifications.

Samsung is set to reveal its next flagship series later this month, and recent leaks are clarifying the expected changes in the Galaxy S26 lineup. Reports have already highlighted multiple hardware and software enhancements anticipated with these devices. Now, reliable leaker OnLeaks has provided images that illustrate the rumored design adjustments more clearly.

As indicated in earlier leaks, the images suggest a potential redesign of the camera, featuring a vertical, pill-shaped camera module with three sensors. The high-end Galaxy S26 Ultra appears to include two additional sensors and an LED flash positioned to the right of the camera module, whereas the standard Galaxy S26 seems to have just a flash module.

Another image showcases the bottom edge of the Galaxy S26 Ultra, displaying a USB-C port located between the SIM slot and a single speaker grille. The S Pen slot seems to be positioned closer to the corner, which has a rounder shape than before, possibly providing a more comfortable grip compared to the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

While the images do not clearly depict the other sides, antenna bands are visible along the top and left edges. The button layout is expected to mirror last year’s models, with both the volume and power buttons located on the upper half of the right edge.

      Anticipate more substantial internal upgrades

Although the Galaxy S26 series may not show significant differences from last year's models in terms of design, notable internal improvements are anticipated. Alongside a new SoC, which could be Qualcomm’s latest flagship chip or Samsung’s Exynos 2600, the Galaxy S26 models are expected to see advancements in camera capabilities and software.

Samsung has yet to officially announce its next Galaxy Unpacked event, but further leaks revealing additional information and the launch timeline should emerge in the upcoming weeks.

I have reported on smartphones for several years, but 2026 appears particularly bold and concerning.

Will apps disappear? What about cameras? And most importantly, will your wallet feel the impact?

The year 2025 was quite satisfying, if you ask my tech-enthusiast heart. It produced remarkable devices, including the liquid-cooled Red Magic 11 Pro, which redefined the best possible hardware for your investment. The iPhone 17 emerged as a surprising success, while the iPhone 17 Pro saw Apple return to its adventurous spirit. We witnessed the Vivo X300, which redefined what a compact phone can achieve. Samsung, never one to lag, impressed us with the Galaxy Z TriFold, fully embracing the hybrid phone-tablet concept. Then there’s Google, which reached its peak with the impressive Pixel 10 series.

Experiencing a static noise while charging your iPhone 17 Pro? You’re not alone.

Many iPhone 17 Pro users report a faint yet concerning hissing sound from the phone's speakers while charging, and the reason remains unclear.

iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max users are encountering an unusual issue: a faint hissing or static noise emanating from the speakers during charging. According to a report by MacRumors, referencing discussions on Reddit and Apple’s Community Support, affected users hear a hissing sound while their phones are charging (whether via a wired or MagSafe connection) with the screen active. Unplugging the device stops the noise.

There was only one clear winner for the ‘least durable phone of 2025’ award.

Find out which phone earned the award for most durable as well.

Many phones were subjected to tech YouTuber Zack Nelson's tests this year, each one enduring his rigorous durability challenges.

The comprehensive yet somewhat unscientific tests performed on his JerryRigEverything channel involve using various hard tools on the phone surfaces, covering them in grit, and applying direct flame to the displays. Finally, Nelson uses his hands and significant force to bend the phones to assess their structural integrity. Some remain intact, while others crack or break apart.
