A New Chapter for TNW.
My name is Alexandru Stan, and this article extends the conversation I started after the acquisition of TNW.
Following the recent acquisition, TNW Spaces is still with the Financial Times, while we carry on with the website’s mission, its events, and the global community.
We have already established a dedicated team at tekpon managing the platform, events, and community efforts. Our aim is to grow and reinforce the team as TNW embarks on its next phase.
TNW is already an international media platform with millions of readers. We're not beginning from scratch. We are building upon our existing foundation.
The Importance of TNW Today
Technology is at a crucial juncture: AI is transforming workflows, distribution methods are evolving, investment is becoming more discerning, and founders need to prove value instead of just potential.
The world does not require more noise.
It needs clarity, effective execution, and access to reliable knowledge and people.
TNW will fulfill this need through editorial independence, genuine expertise, and intelligence cultivated within the community.
Success for TNW looks like this: a clearer understanding, quicker access to verified knowledge, and direct routes from insight to action.
My Leadership Philosophy
Since 2007, I’ve been an entrepreneur in B2B SaaS, marketplaces, and scalable systems. I firmly believe in servant leadership; without people, I am nothing.
I lead two private networks focused on practical rather than theoretical applications:
- An Inner Circle of 150 founders who are scaling responsibly.
- An Executive Network limited to 1,000 members, providing curated insights, tools, events, concierge support, and opportunities to contribute expertise to TNW’s editorial and research endeavors.
These groups ensure TNW stays grounded in real-world experience, informed by practitioners instead of commentators.
What TNW Will Become in the Next Stage
Our goal is to create the most trusted European tech media platform with a global presence, emphasizing practical innovation, responsible scaling, and transparency.
We will continue to organize events across major European capitals, including Paris, London, Berlin, Amsterdam, and Monaco.
These will not be festivals; we are introducing a concept validated through tekpon events: curated gatherings designed for meaningful relationships, in-depth content, and concrete business results.
In 2026, we will return to Amsterdam for a special edition focused on AI and other sectors. We will examine the technologies and strategies that are influencing the future of work and business, including:
- B2B SaaS and pricing
- Automation and RPA
- AI agents and AI-native workflows
- Infrastructure for startups and enterprises
- Distribution, partnerships, and capital allocation
The editorial focus will remain European, while the audience will be global.
AI and the Future of Media
AI does not pose a threat to publishing; it is the framework for the next generation of content and knowledge.
At TNW, we will leverage AI to enhance research, facilitate personalized intelligence, minimize noise and bias, and elevate high-quality human expertise. Technology serves as an aid, while human judgment stays central.
Why TNW, Why Now
Because this moment in Europe is significant.
Because founders here are prepared to grow responsibly.
Because independent media with integrity is scarce.
Because innovation requires a platform centered around people rather than hype.
TNW will carry on its legacy with a renewed focus on contribution, execution, and a community built on trust.
If you are developing, scaling, or researching the next wave of technology, I invite you to join us, share insights, and help shape the discussion.
The next era begins now. Let’s build it together.
