Disregard the Galaxy S26; some of Samsung's most exciting technology for 2026 might be showcased at CES.
One of the main companies to keep an eye on at CES 2026, which begins on January 6, is Samsung. In fact, it would be wise to note an earlier date on your calendar: the brand's press conference takes place on January 4, preceding CES.
However, this event will not feature the unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy S26 series, the Galaxy Tab S12, Buds 4, Watch 9, or any other highly anticipated mobile devices. Those may be revealed later in January or in February, but what Samsung does showcase could be equally impressive.
CES is renowned for its audio-visual technology; think along the lines of Samsung's televisions, monitors, soundbars, and possibly some appliances, as the variety at CES is quite broad. Many major tech companies will be presenting, particularly Samsung, likely introducing a significant lineup of new hardware and software.
Here's a glimpse of what we can expect from Samsung at CES 2026, drawing from previous years and our preferences for the brand.
**New Samsung TVs**
Samsung's standout feature at CES 2026 is anticipated to be their televisions, with the company expected to reveal its newest screens for the year.
We can look forward to new Neo QLED 8K and Neo QLED 4K models taking center stage. These updates of last year's models will likely feature the same Quantum-dot LED technology that contributed to the popularity of earlier versions, but with selected enhancements. Last year, the focus was on anti-glare technology paired with Vision AI improvements.
Samsung's OLED lineup will also see a refresh that is equally important, as last year's S95F was among the most exciting TVs showcased at CES. These new OLED models will probably include similar overall upgrades as the QLEDs, and possibly additional features that future QLEDs will have. Additionally, it may give budget-conscious consumers a chance to view smaller TVs, with 43-inch models being more common in Samsung's OLED offerings compared to QLEDs.
Another TV to anticipate is a new version in Samsung's The Frame series, which features smart TVs designed to mimic wall art. Last year introduced a Pro model with a Neo QLED display and an enhanced processor, along with an expansion of Samsung’s Art Store for fresh designs for The Frame's software. At CES 2026, we might see another iteration of The Frame, an upgrade to one of its sub-brands like The Serif, The Sero, or The Terrace, or even a new model in conjunction with these, or possibly several!
**More AV Equipment**
Your wish list for audio-visual gear is far from over, as past years have seen various home entertainment products unveiled, and CES 2026 will likely be no exception.
Samsung typically showcases new additions to its soundbar collection at CES, including standalone models and those with a separate subwoofer. It’s highly probable that new versions will debut this year, likely featuring Vision AI in some capacity.
Last year, the One Connect Box was launched, allowing users to connect HDMI media products for picture transfer to their screen (reducing cable clutter). While a 2.0 version of this is unlikely so soon after its debut, it does hint that Samsung may have other AV or home theater innovations to display.
The company also offers projectors, and it has been over a year since we saw a new model in its The Premiere line of short-throw projectors. Therefore, CES could potentially showcase an upgraded series. It has been nearly two years since a new affordable model from The Freestyle line of compact projectors was released, so there might be an arrival of a third-generation model, though it’s not guaranteed.
**Enhancements to Vision AI**
Samsung is anticipated to devote a considerable portion of CES to promote its new AI vision technology, referred to as Vision AI. This was a key highlight during the brand's 2025 press conference, and the interest in AI continues to persist.
Vision AI provides numerous audio and visual enhancements, scene recognition capabilities to identify actors or food in scenes, translation features for live broadcasts, among other functionalities.
Users of Samsung TVs over the previous year may have already experienced these features. However, AI capabilities are not limited to a single launch; we expect the company to introduce many more this year to enhance its latest models. Some of these tools may even be incorporated into the Galaxy S26.
**Odyssey Monitors**
Last year's CES showcased gaming monitors that were among our favorite products in Samsung’s lineup. The company revealed two major monitors, featuring one with a 500Hz refresh rate and a curved 4K display, which have become highly sought after by gamers.
With televisions and other display technologies set to be a major attraction at CES 2026, it’s very likely that Samsung will present a few new models in the Odyssey series.
We could see advancements in refresh rates for high-resolution curved monitors, possibly introducing a 500Hz display that's 4K instead of
