Do you enjoy crossword puzzles but find you don't have the time to complete a full-size puzzle from your daily newspaper? That's where The Mini comes in!

The Mini is a condensed version of the well-known New York Times crossword puzzle, offering a quick and simple way to challenge your crossword skills each day, taking considerably less time (on average, players take just over a minute to complete it). While The Mini is more compact and straightforward than a standard crossword, it can still be challenging. Struggling with a single clue might mean the difference between a personal best time and a frustrating solving experience.

Just like our hints for Wordle and Connections, we're here to assist you with The Mini if you find yourself in need of a little guidance.

NYT Spelling Bee: answers for Friday, May 10

Are you a fan of New York Times games? So are we, and the Spelling Bee is among our favorites. However, like many other NYT games — Wordle, Connections, Strands, and The Mini — we occasionally find it challenging to complete.

If you're having trouble with today’s Spelling Bee, we're here to help. Refer to the article below for a guide on how to play the game and a list of all possible words you could form today.

If you enjoy Wordle and Connections, Puzzmo could become your next daily addiction.

If you've incorporated puzzle games like Wordle and Connections into your routine over the past year, you might be in for another daily obsession. Puzzmo is a new platform that adapts the concept of a newspaper puzzle page into a responsive web page compatible with various devices. Players can sign up for the free platform today, which also offers a $40 annual subscription that grants access to additional features like experimental games and leaderboards.

This ambitious project is a collaboration between Orta Therox and Zach Gage, a game designer known for mobile titles such as Knotwords and Good Sudoku. His latest endeavor has been in development for years, serving as a hub for Gage’s puzzle catalog that aims to compete with popular platforms like The New York Times.

Move over, Wordle: The New York Times has launched a new puzzle game.

The New York Times has announced a new addition to its Games catalog following Wordle's success — this one focuses on mathematics. Digits requires players to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers. You can currently play its beta version for free online.

In Digits, players receive a target number that they need to match by using six provided numbers and performing operations. Not all numbers must be used, making this game a test of your math abilities as you combine numbers to formulate equations aimed at reaching the target number as closely as possible.

Players will earn a five-star rating for matching the target number exactly, three stars for being within 10 of the target, and one star for being within 25 of the target number. Currently, players also have access to five different puzzles featuring larger numbers. I played today’s puzzle and found it to be an enjoyable game centered around numbers that should attract those who appreciate puzzle games like Threes or other titles from The New York Times such as Wordle and Spelling Bee.

In an article announcing Digits and explaining the game development process of The New York Times Games team, The Times mentions that they will use this free beta to resolve bugs and evaluate whether the project merits advancing to a more active development stage "where the game is coded and the designs are finalized." Therefore, play Digits while you can, as The New York Times may choose to discontinue the project if the response isn't what they anticipate.

Digits' beta is available to play for free now on The New York Times Games' website.
