Is Borderlands 4 compatible with cross-platform play?
GearBox
There are only a few games that we can confidently say provide co-op experiences nearly as enjoyable as the Borderlands series. Titles like Split Fiction come to mind, but there’s something uniquely special about gathering your friends and exploring Pandora as your preferred Vault Hunters. Borderlands 4 is the latest installment in the franchise that started in 2009, and the main question isn't focused on the story, weapons, or characters, but on cross-platform support. Typically, we would assume this game would feature it, but Borderlands 3 launched without any cross-platform capabilities and only introduced them after multiple updates. We journeyed to Pandora and back to deliver the definitive answer on whether Borderlands 4 supports cross-platform play.

Indeed, Gearbox has finally taken the hint, and Borderlands 4 will release with full cross-platform support. During the official gameplay reveal, Gearbox Entertainment confirmed that Borderlands 4 will enable players on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC to join forces in this exciting looter-shooter adventure, stating, “Thanks to our enhanced lobby system, it's now easier than ever to connect with friends spontaneously. With full cross-play at launch, you'll be able to play with your friends on any platform.” Additionally, Borderlands 4 will support crossplay on the Nintendo Switch 2 as well. While the game will still include an option for two players to engage in local split-screen co-op, online crossplay will allow you to assemble a full team of four vault hunters.
Although there has been no specific announcement regarding cross-progression, we suspect it will also be included. This feature was absent in the previous title, and Gearbox must realize how much we and the broader community desire the option to transfer our characters between platforms without starting over. We will keep you and this article updated as soon as we have concrete information regarding cross-progression.

Everything we know about Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4
After a lengthy absence, the first signs of revival for the Tony Hawk games appeared with 2020's Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2.
