Based on the teaser, it seems the beloved atmosphere from the first season is returning, along with Jenna Ortega's standout performance.
Similar to many of Netflix's top shows, Wednesday season 2 will feature two premiere dates: the first half will debut on August 6, followed by the second half a month later on September 3. These dates will allow all the Wednesday enthusiasts ample time to prepare their Halloween costumes for the year.

The Jonestown tragedy has been notorious for nearly 50 years.
If you watched Barry until the end, you likely noticed that Bill Hader has a darker side, often discussing his interest in serial killers and crime. Now, he is channeling that intrigue into a new HBO project. Variety reports that Hader will co-write and possibly star in a series about the infamous Jonestown massacre.
He is collaborating on the script with Daniel Zelman, and while the project is still in development, it could potentially become Hader's next starring role with HBO, where he previously worked on Barry.
