Earlier this month, the company announced support for Matter across 50 new device types, and now it has introduced three new products: the Aqara M100 Hub, Climate Sensor W100, and Camera Protect Kit Y100. All three products are now available for purchase.

      For those interested in integrating their smart devices, the Aqara Smart Hub M100 is likely the most appealing offering. This next-gen smart hub is designed for seamless compatibility with Matter, enabling you to create complex automations between Aqara devices and Matter-compatible products from other brands.

      The M100 can connect with up to 20 Zigbee devices and allows features such as facial recognition across Home Assistant and other Matter-enabled systems. Its compact design makes it easy to place anywhere, and it requires minimal setup—simply plug it in, sign into your network, and start connecting other devices. It supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi 6, promising efficient performance.

      Aqara also launched the Climate Sensor W100. While it isn't a smart thermostat, it can be integrated with other devices to manage your home's climate. It features three buttons next to a large 3.4-inch display that shows the current temperature and humidity. This device acts as a remote control for your smart thermostat, making it more functional than using a smartphone app, as multiple functions can be programmed onto its buttons. It is particularly appealing to niche consumers seeking more control over their systems, and at a price of $40, it could attract buyers with larger homes looking for an alternative to installing an additional thermostat.

      The final product released by Aqara is the Camera Protect Kit Y100. This bundle includes a 2K camera, a door and window sensor, a motion sensor, and a vibration sensor. It features a microSD card slot for local recording and can connect with Apple Home, Alexa, and Google Home for voice control.
