      Garmin has recently introduced the latest in its Tactical series of Instinct devices, claiming it to be their toughest and most feature-packed model yet.

      This watch boasts a sturdy construction featuring a bolted design with a metal-reinforced bezel and a fiber-reinforced polymer case that incorporates a scratch-resistant display. It meets MIL-STD 810 standards for thermal and shock resistance and is suitable for depths of up to 100 meters underwater. In short, it meets military specifications.

      One aspect of the device that's receiving considerable praise is its integrated LED lighting modules on the watches, included in both the 45mm and 50mm models.

      A very unique military feature is the Applied Ballistics solver, available for a fee, providing wind and elevation data to evaluate how these factors might impact gun and bullet trajectories.
