Season 8 of Rick and Morty unveils an exciting new trailer.

      Rick and Morty from Adult Swim has been airing since 2015, and significant gaps between seasons are not unusual. Nonetheless, season 8 is now only a month away, and Adult Swim is marking the occasion with a wild new trailer for the upcoming ten-episode season.

      It’s tough to gather specific story details from the trailer, but it appears that Rick will embark on at least one adventure with Space Beth, the version of his daughter who chose to become an adventurer like him. The show has deliberately remained ambiguous about whether Space Beth is the original Beth or a clone, given that another version of her is still on Earth with her family.

      Speaking of that other Beth, she is shown briefly writing while her husband, Jerry, is ensnared in some kind of crystal. The trailer also suggests some unsettling developments for Jerry that have his family on edge. Currently, there’s no appearance of Evil Morty, one of the show's recurring antagonists. Yet, familiar creatures and chaos persist as always.

      This upcoming season marks the second for Rick and Morty without co-creator Justin Roiland, who voiced both main characters. Roiland was removed from the series in early 2023 following domestic violence charges, which were ultimately dismissed, and allegations of sexual misconduct. Ian Cardoni has been brought on to voice Rick, while Harry Belden takes over as Morty. Chris Parnell returns as the voice of Jerry, with Sarah Chalke voicing both versions of Beth, and Spencer Grammer as their daughter, Summer.

      Adult Swim recently released a special for April Fool’s Day, featuring live-action recreations of scenes from Rick and Morty. At the conclusion of this special, it was announced that the eighth season will premiere on May 25 on Adult Swim.

      The Vikings are on their last expedition in the third and final season of Vikings: Valhalla. Netflix has announced that Vikings: Valhalla season 3 will debut on July 11, 2024. The streaming service also released a trailer that hints at an epic and bloody finale. This sequel series to Vikings chronicles the journeys of three renowned Vikings: Leif Eriksson (Sam Corlett), his sister Freydís (Frida Gustavsson), and the Norwegian prince Harald Sigurdsson (Leo Suter).

      Apple TV+ previews new seasons of Severance, Silo in teaser trailer

      At WWDC 2024, Apple TV+ showcased its forthcoming lineup of movies and TV series in a "coming soon" teaser trailer. The footage offered a sneak peek at Severance season 2 and Silo season 2.

      "Welcome back. Been a minute," remarks Seth Milchick to Mark S. in the early look at Severance season 2. The new season will explore the aftermath of the overtime contingency from the season 1 finale, featuring Mark, Helly, and Irving's innies navigating the outside world. The cast returns for season 2, including Adam Scott, Zach Cherry, Britt Lower, Tramell Tillman, Jen Tullock, Dichen Lachman, Michael Chernus, John Turturro, Christopher Walken, and Patricia Arquette.

      Everything is possible in new Doctor Who season 14 trailer

      So far, fans of Doctor Who have only seen Ncuti Gatwa's 15th Doctor in a cameo during the final 60th anniversary special and in a Christmas special last year. Although it’s too soon to determine the type of Doctor Gatwa will portray, he certainly has an appealing smile in the new trailer for Doctor Who season 14. The latest preview from the upcoming season offers minimal story details but showcases strong chemistry between the Doctor and his new companion, Ruby Sunday (Millie Gibson). Ruby resembles past companions of the Doctor, Rose Tyler and Amy Pond. However, based on these clips, it seems Ruby is poised to grow into her role.
