Murder, chaos, and the Addams family make a comeback in the first look at season 2 of Wednesday.
Netflix unveiled the official trailer for the second season of Wednesday, the supernatural comedy centered on the Addams family daughter, who possesses a dark sense of humor and psychic abilities. Jenna Ortega reprises her role as the titular character, which significantly boosted her rising stardom.
In this new season, Wednesday heads back to Nevermore Academy, this time with her brother, Pugsley (Isaac Ordonez), joining her as a student. Their parents, Morticia (Catherine Zeta-Jones) and Gomez Addams (Luis Guzmán), will also be more involved on campus.
“I already know where the bodies are buried,” Wednesday remarks upon her return to Nevermore.

Similar to the previous season, Wednesday season 2 will feature the young detective tackling another murder case. She will also delve into the mystery that involves her parents.
Returning cast members for Wednesday include Emma Myers as Enid Sinclair, Sunday as Bianca Barclay, Moosa Mostafa as Eugene, Georgie Farmer as Ajax, Dorobantu as Thing, Hunter Doohan as Tyler Galpin, Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo as Deputy Ritchie Santiago, Jamie McShane as Sheriff Donovan Galpin, and Fred Armisen as Uncle Fester.
New additions for season 2 encompass Steve Buscemi, Billie Piper, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, Noah B. Taylor, Christopher Lloyd, Joanna Lumley, Thandiwe Newton, Frances O’Connor, Haley Joel Osment, Heather Matarazzo, and Joonas Suatamo.
Wednesday is directed and executive produced by the visionary Tim Burton for season 2. Alfred Gough and Miles Millar continue as the creators, showrunners, and executive producers.
