      In the trailer for season 2 of Poker Face, Natasha Lyonne reprises her role as Charlie Cale, a woman who has a unique ability to spot liars.

      “Maybe I’m learning how to truly enjoy this journey,” Charlie says in the trailer. She embarks on a journey in her Plymouth Barracuda, encountering a fresh mystery at each destination. Charlie finds it impossible to resist getting involved in these crimes and utilizing her talents. The new locations for season 2 include a minor league baseball game, an alligator farm, a funeral home, and a school talent show.

      “No one has managed to deceive me yet,” Charlie asserts with confidence.

      With new thrilling adventures each week, Poker Face features a remarkable roster of A-list guest stars. The new cast for season 2 includes Cynthia Erivo, Giancarlo Esposito, Katie Holmes, John Mulaney, Kumail Nanjiani, Rhea Perlman, John Cho, Alia Shawkat, Justin Theroux, Simon Helberg, Taylor Schilling, Melanie Lynskey, Patti Harrison, Awkwafina, Cliff “Method Man” Smith, David Alan Grier, Sam Richardson, Simon Rex, Carol Kane, Richard Kind, Haley Joel Osment, Adrienne C. Moore, Gata, Margo Martindale, Jasmine Guy, Kevin Corrigan, and David Krumholtz.

      Additionally, guest stars will feature Ben Marshall, B.J. Novak, Corey Hawkins, Ego Nwodim, Gaby Hoffmann, Geraldine Viswanathan, Jason Ritter, Kathrine Narducci, Lauren Tom, Lili Taylor, Natasha Leggero, and Sherry Cola. The credits also include some animal appearances, such as Daisy the alligator and Joseph the gerbil.

      Rian Johnson, the writer of Knives Out, created Poker Face. Tony Tost will serve as showrunner for season 2, succeeding Nora and Lilla Zuckerman. Johnson and Lyonne collaborated on writing and directing selected episodes in season 2. Executive producers include Johnson, Lyonne, Ram Bergman, Nena Rodrigue, Adam Arkin, and the Zuckermans.

      Poker Face season 2 will be available for streaming on Peacock starting May 8, including a total of 12 episodes.
