      Atomic / Atomic

All outies should pay attention: you might soon find yourself using the same Lumon keyboard as your innie, all thanks to the MDR Dasher Keyboard.

If that statement confuses you, it's likely you've not seen Severance, the Apple TV+ series, and probably won’t have any desire for one of these keyboards.

However, for Severance enthusiasts, there’s fantastic news as the increasingly iconic Lumon Terminal keyboard is making its way into the real world.

Dubbed the MDR Dasher Keyboard, this nostalgic piece is the creation of Atomic Keyboard, who made the announcement in March and is now allowing sign-ups for interested users.

Apple had previously teased a similar product as part of a marketing effort to generate more excitement for Severance. They featured what looked like a genuine “Lumon Terminal Pro” as a product on their website. While that was all in good fun, this new release is indeed genuine.

As of now, the MDR (Macrodata Refinement) Keyboard is under development, and you can register to receive notifications when it becomes available. The creators emphasize that this will be a limited edition and you must sign up for a chance to purchase it.

The keyboard boasts a 73-key layout with a 70% format and—humorously—lacks an Escape key, Control key, and Options key, just like the Lumon employees depicted in the show. Crafted from aluminum for durability, the design also implies that it will be lightweight and sturdy.

Its makers state: “The specialized function keys symbolize the compartmentalized and controlled nature of the severed floor.

“Mechanical keyboard fans will appreciate the vintage-inspired design, unique keycap shapes, and the tactile, satisfying typing experience hinted at in the show.”

Additionally, there is a trackball module for mouse control and USB-C connectivity. It will be compatible with Windows, macOS, and Linux systems.

At the time of this publication, the keyboard is listed at $399, but this is crossed off to indicate: “Final price TBD.”

Please endeavor to enjoy every keystroke equally.

Nvidia has a surprise for you regarding the RTX 5060 Ti and RTX 5060 pricing

It’s official: Nvidia has just unveiled three new GPUs, a few of which will compete with leading graphics cards in the mainstream market. New laptops are also on the way. Nvidia's announcement outlines what we can expect from the upcoming additions to the RTX 50-series lineup.

Team Green is maintaining the pricing for its historically best-selling GPU, the RTX 5060. Starting at $299, the card retains the same recommended retail price (MSRP) as the RTX 4060. This isn’t particularly surprising, and the main concern will be whether it will actually be available at MSRP, as most RTX 50-series models have not been.

If you’ve used Hertz, keep an eye on your credit

If you have rented a vehicle from Hertz in the past, it would be wise to check your credit reports and watch for any suspicious activity. The car rental company sent a warning to customers regarding a data breach that occurred between October and December 2024. According to the notice, Hertz confirmed on February 10 that “data was acquired by an unauthorized third party.” Their assessment of the affected data concluded on April 2, 2025.

In essence, your personal information, including your name, contact details, date of birth, credit card information, driver's license details, and even workers' compensation claims could have been compromised. Additionally, “a very small number of individuals may have had their Social Security or other government ID numbers, passport details, and Medicare or Medicaid numbers” also exposed.
