Hisense's ULED TVs for 2025 are exceptionally bright and come in three models, each measuring 100 inches.

Hisense has unveiled its 2025 ULED TV lineup, positioned just below the flagship ULED X series. This collection includes four mini-LED backlit 4K models: U6, U7, U8, and U9, with sizes reaching up to 100 inches and a claimed peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits. While Hisense has not disclosed pricing or detailed specifications, they have stated that these models will be available later this year.

The company has provided a glimpse of what to expect when the new models launch. In addition to large screens and impressive brightness, Hisense emphasizes its AI processing, which aims to deliver “smarter, more intuitive picture enhancements—without manual adjustments.”

This processing is managed by the Hi-View AI Engine X in the U9 Series and by the Hi-View AI Engine Pro in the U7 and U8 series. Each model features enhanced local dimming, Quantum Dots (QLED), and certain models include gaming-oriented, AI-driven motion processing, supporting refresh rates of up to 165Hz and Dolby Vision Gaming. Dolby Atmos is standard, while the U9, U8, and U7 are powered by Google TV, with the U6 Series utilizing an Amazon Fire TV interface.

Specifics are still awaited, but Hisense states that features like HDMI eARC, Wi-Fi 6E, and compatibility with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple HomeKit will be included, although support may vary among models.

The 2025 Hisense U9 series (U9QG) introduces a smaller 65-inch version alongside the 75-inch and 85-inch choices. As mentioned, the U9 uses the Hi-View AI Engine X—similar to the chipset in the flagship ULED X lineup. Hisense claims it continuously optimizes brightness, contrast, and color accuracy for a refined, lifelike picture in real-time. The AI features include AI 4K Upscaler, AI Super Resolution, AI Noise Reduction, AI Local Dimming, AI HDR Upscaler, and AI Depth Enhancer.

The U9’s Ultra LR panel reportedly reduces reflections while offering an ultra-wide viewing angle. Supported formats and features include Dolby Vision IQ, IMAX Enhanced, and Filmmaker Mode, with the panel itself featuring a 165Hz native refresh rate along with FreeSync Premium Pro and auto low-latency mode (ALLM).

The 65-inch model has a 4.1.2 multi-channel sound system with CineStage X Surround, Dolby Atmos, and DTS Virtual X, while the larger 75- and 85-inch models come with a 5.1.2 multi-channel sound system.

The 2025 Hisense U8 Series (U8QG) features the Hi-View AI Engine Pro and a QLED panel, including many of the AI-driven enhancements found in the U9, with peak brightness reaching up to 5,000 nits. Like the U9, it offers a 165Hz native refresh rate, MEMC, and “lightning-fast response times.” It supports Dolby Vision, Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+, and IMAX Enhanced. Screen size options are not fully known, but Hisense mentions that the new U8 will also reach up to 100 inches. It includes an 82-watt Dolby Atmos 4.1.2 multi-channel sound system and Wi-Fi 6E for rapid wireless connectivity.

Hisense describes the U7 Series (U7QG) as “the ultimate mid-premium TV, delivering high-performance features at an accessible sub-$1K price point.” It is not yet clear if this includes the anticipated 100-inch model (likely not), with smaller sizes beginning at 55 inches.

The U7 series is equipped with MiniLED Pro technology and retains the 165Hz native refresh rate, offering features such as Game Booster 288Hz, VRR, ALLM, Dolby Vision Gaming, and FreeSync Premium Pro—essentially covering all needs for console or PC gamers. Enhanced HDR support, deeper contrast, and vibrant colors are promised, alongside glare-free, low reflection visuals from its AGLR-Antiglare panel. It includes a 60-watt 2.1.2 multi-channel sound system with Dolby Atmos.

Finally, the U6 Series (U6QF) serves as the entry-level option, with screen sizes from 55 to 100 inches. This model supports the new Amazon Fire TV interface with an Alexa Voice Remote and boasts excellent HDR compatibility with Dolby Vision plus HDR10+ Adaptive. Gamers can enjoy ALLM and VRR along with an enhanced 144Hz native refresh rate and Game Mode Pro, as well as FreeSync Premium. The U6 TVs are equipped with a 2.1-channel sound system featuring a built-in subwoofer and Dolby Atmos, with wireless connections facilitated via Wi-Fi 6.
