It's time for the games to commence. Following a busy week of conference tournaments, we are about to discover which teams will compete in the NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament. In other words, March Madness is upon us. Before the first points are scored, the bracket must be finalized during the 2025 NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship selection show. Welcome to Selection Sunday.
A total of 68 teams will participate in this premier basketball tournament. 31 teams have automatically secured their spots by winning their conference championships. The Selection Committee will choose the remaining 37 teams, also known as at-large selections. The committee evaluates criteria such as strength of schedule, notable victories, and disappointing losses to make these selections. Once the bracket is established, all that’s left to do is relax and enjoy the games.

LSU vs. Kentucky: How to Watch, Results, and Highlights
It’s a Sunday showcase for women’s college basketball. Flau'jae Johnson and the No. 7 LSU Tigers (26-2) are set to face Georgia Amoore and the No. 14 Kentucky Wildcats (21-4). LSU and Kentucky rank third and fourth in the SEC, respectively, and this will be their only regular-season matchup.
Last weekend, LSU suffered a loss to Texas (65-58), marking their first defeat since January 24. However, like every team coached by Kim Mulkey, the Tigers bounced back and conquered Georgia 79-63 earlier this week. Similarly, Kentucky also lost to Texas last week. The Wildcats come into Sunday’s game on a two-game winning streak, having secured their latest victory against Missouri on Thursday.
Both LSU and Kentucky will qualify for the NCAA Tournament, and they still have a slim chance at a No. 1 seed, but a loss on Sunday would end that hope. Here’s how to watch the game, including start time, channel, and streaming options. Our NCAA women’s basketball March to the Madness guide is your definitive resource for the remainder of the season.
