Aqara's IoT innovations and the prospect of entering the B2B market
On March 14, 2025, the Aqara brand held a closed presentation in Moscow, where new intelligent devices that expand the ecosystem's capabilities were announced.
Among them are the Aqara Dimmer Switch H2 wall dimmer, the G5 pro outdoor camera hub in two versions, and the S1 plus multifunction control panel. All new items will go on sale in April.
The main products presented at the event:
● Wall Dimmer H2 | Dimmer Switch H2 EU is a smart dimmer with intuitive rotary controls and support for Matter, Thread and Zigbee. Unlike previous models, the H2 operates without a neutral wire and supports more flexible lighting scenarios.
● Multifunctional Temperature Sensor W100 | Climate Sensor W100 is a new temperature and humidity sensor with a display for instant data display. It automatically maintains a comfortable microclimate and controls heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.
● The M100 | Hub M100 Smart Home Center is a new generation hub with Zigbee and Thread support, operating over Wi-Fi 6. Compared to previous versions, it provides a more stable connection and high data transfer rate.

In addition to new products, well-known Aqara devices were also demonstrated, such as smart switches, locks and motors for curtains that integrate into the existing ecosystem. All Aqara solutions support integration with popular platforms and allow you to control your devices via an app, voice, or gestures.
The importance of the event for the brand and its ambitions was emphasized by the presence of Dr. Zhen Lin, President of Aqara, at the event.
"We are constantly expanding the product line, and one of the goals of Aqara is to maximize its presence and significantly expand the range and number of devices on the Russian market. The Russian line of devices is already the widest in the world after China, and work in this direction is just beginning. Today, the Aqara ecosystem includes over 100 devices available in Russia. They simplify everyday tasks: they automatically turn on heating, lighting, or air conditioning, play their favorite music, feed pets, and provide security for an apartment or house. This is largely due to the marketing activities of the SoftMaster team and partnerships with leading market players," said Dmitry Kozhevnikov, CEO of SoftMaster, the official distributor of the Aqara brand in Russia.
It should be noted that representatives of the Aqara brand have announced plans to enter the B2B market, which means not only expanding the model range, but also a different approach in terms of support and promotion.
