The live-action Lilo & Stitch is just as charming as you would expect.
Disney
Prepare for your heart to overflow with emotions beneath the Hawaiian sun. Disney has unveiled the full-length trailer for the live-action remake of Lilo & Stitch, and it's equally charming and touching. The entertainment company released the latest trailer online on Wednesday, giving fans a closer glimpse of the CGI-animated Stitch (a.k.a. Experiment 626) forming a bond with Lilo (Maia Kealoha) while engaging in all kinds of playful antics on Earth. Take a look below!

While the trailer presents heartwarming interactions between the titular characters, it also features scenes that differ from the original 2002 animated version. For instance, one of the mean girls knocks Lilo down during hula practice, as opposed to Myrtle and her friends slipping and falling from Lilo's puddle after arriving late to the hula studio. In the surfing scene, Lilo and Nani (Sydney Agudong) don swim rash guards, diverging from their one-piece and two-piece swimsuits from before. Stitch, in turn, sports floaties, enhancing his adorableness.
Another noteworthy scene depicts Stitch taking a CD out of Nani’s player and tossing it at another car like a frisbee out of road rage during a family outing.
The trailer also offers a glimpse of Zach Galifianakis and Billy Magnussen as Jumba and Pleakley, respectively – at least in their human forms represented through holograms – along with Courtney B. Vance as Cobra Bubbles, a social worker ready to place Lilo in foster care if Nani fails to juggle her caregiving duties with her other obligations, including work and school.
This complete trailer comes over a month after Disney's Super Bowl promo featuring Stitch dashing across the football field, skillfully evading campus staff. The promo mirrors how Stitch appeared in iconic scenes from each Disney animated film during its original promotional campaigns, including Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, and Aladdin.
Lilo & Stitch is set to hit theaters on May 23, 2025.

The Last of Us season 2 trailer showcases Joel and Ellie’s troubled relationship
If you've played The Last of Us or watched the HBO series, you know that Joel (Pedro Pascal) cares for Ellie (Bella Ramsey) as if she were his daughter. He would go to great lengths for her, even kill for her. This sentiment lies at the heart of their emotional conflict in season 2, based on The Last of Us Part II. In the closing moments of HBO's newly released season 2 trailer, Ellie discovers just how far Joel went to safeguard her at the end of season 1, altering their relationship forever.
Even before the truth is disclosed, the footage portrays signs of strain between them, despite him gifting her a guitar and admiring her tattoo. Ellie is maturing in the safe confines of Jackson, Wyoming, where she even finds a romantic interest, Dina (Isabela Merced), who shares a kiss with her in the trailer. However, Jackson's safety is compromised as its walls face assaults. The infected individuals driven by the Cordyceps virus will always pose a threat, but the real danger to Joel and Ellie originates from other people.
