The S Pen has emerged as the premier accessory for users who enjoy drawing and note-taking on their phones, particularly with the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. However, discussions about the stylus's future have sparked some debate recently, especially since it wasn’t part of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition package. Fortunately, the company has assured that the S Pen will not be omitted from future Galaxy S Ultra models.
Annika Bizon, VP of Product and Marketing at Samsung’s Mobile Experience in the UK, recently informed TechRadar at MWC 2025 that Galaxy users should not be concerned about the inclusion of the S Pen in future models. The stylus was absent at Samsung's Galaxy Unpacked event for the Galaxy S25 series back in January, but its lack in recent promotional material does not mean it will be excluded from upcoming Galaxy S Ultra devices.
"Multimodality is crucial to us," Bizon stated. "This pertains to how people utilize their phones—be it speaking, writing, or participating in meetings. Users often employ their S Pens in meetings for note-taking. Thus, I cannot envision a scenario where the S Pen is not an essential part of our lineup."
If you still have doubts about the S Pen's presence in future phones, Samsung is reportedly contemplating its inclusion in the Galaxy Z Fold 7, although it intends to replace the digitizer with an active electrostatic system (AES), similar to the stylus technology used by the Apple Pencil. Furthermore, with the release of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, the S Pen has lost its Bluetooth capabilities, meaning features like Air Actions and remote shutter functionalities are no longer operational. However, users can still access the Air Commands menu and the Circle to Search feature.

Earlier today, the first images of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ were leaked online, and these are not just ordinary renders. The upcoming tablet can be seen in full 360-degree video along with high-resolution 5K renders, courtesy of @OnLeaks.
The news about the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ isn't brand new; it has been known that the tablet is on the way and might compete with the iPad Pro in size. Expected to feature an impressive 13.1 inches of display, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ will offer ample space for all conceivable applications. What sets it apart is its mid-range positioning while still boasting nearly flagship-size specifications.
The year 2025 may witness the arrival of exceedingly thin smartphones. Samsung has already provided a sneak peek of the Galaxy S25 Edge, which could be launched as early as April. Meanwhile, Apple is widely expected to unveil an iPhone 17 Air model later this year. However, it appears that a lesser-known brand may precede them in this market.
Samsung is preparing for a proactive approach in the upcoming competition for slim smartphones. Following a design tease and confirmation of the name during the Galaxy S25 launch earlier this year, Samsung plans to introduce the Galaxy S25 Edge in the coming months. There are credible rumors regarding its announcement date.
According to South Korea's Seoul Economic Daily, the Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to be revealed on April 16, with Samsung opting for an online Unpacked event rather than a physical launch. Although the device will be unveiled in April, it will not be available for purchase until the following month, and the specific availability date remains uncertain.
