NYT Strands for today: clues, spangram, and solutions for Sunday, March 2.

Strands is a new daily puzzle from the New York Times. It's a more challenging version of the traditional word search, requiring sharp observation skills to complete it. Similar to Wordle, Connections, and the Mini Crossword, Strands can occasionally present difficulties. It's perfectly acceptable to need assistance every now and then. If you're having trouble and want to discover the answers to today's Strands puzzle, you can find the solved puzzle below.

      How to play Strands

Each Strands puzzle begins with the objective of locating the “theme words” concealed within the letter grid. You can manipulate the letters by dragging or tapping to form words; double-tap the last letter to confirm. When you identify the correct word, the letters will be highlighted in blue and become unselectable.

Finding a non-theme word still contributes positively! For every three non-theme words you discover that are a minimum of four letters long, you'll receive a hint—one of the letters of a theme word will be revealed, and you will simply need to unscramble it.

Every letter in the grid contributes to spelling the theme words, and there is no overlap; each letter will be utilized exactly once.

Each puzzle includes one “spangram,” which is a significant theme word (or words) that relates to the theme of the puzzle and spans across two opposing sides of the board. When you identify the spangram, it will be highlighted in yellow.

The aim is to finish the puzzle efficiently while minimizing the use of hints.

You can currently obtain Death Stranding for free on PC. Here’s how

Death Stranding is available for free on PC through the Epic Games Store. Players have until May 25 to claim their copy before a new mystery game becomes available for free. The Epic Games Store has a longstanding tradition of offering free games. Just last month, it provided free copies of Dying Light: Enhanced Edition during the Easter weekend. Death Stranding, typically priced at $30 on the Epic Games Store, is a notably significant freebie, so make sure to claim a copy while the offer lasts.

Today’s Wordle answer changed due to Roe v. Wade

Occasionally, Wordle players receive different answers depending on the browser used to access the game. Today is one of those instances, but for a very different reason. The New York Times adjusted today’s Wordle answer due to its unintended connection to the Supreme Court's forthcoming ruling on Roe v. Wade. The intended answer for Wordle 324 was "fetus." Wordle creator Josh Wardle had scheduled this solution for today over a year ago, long before The New York Times acquired the game during its peak popularity in January. Everdeen Mason, editorial director for New York Times Games, stated in a release that the answer was changed to something entirely different because of its relevance to the Supreme Court’s leaked draft opinion from last week, which included a proposal to overturn the 1973 landmark Roe v. Wade abortion ruling, provoking widespread concern throughout the nation.

Death Stranding Director’s Cut finally arrives on PC on March 30

Kojima Productions and 505 Games' Death Stranding Director's Cut is set to debut on PC on March 30, 2022. It will be priced at $40 for new players, although those who already possess Death Stranding on PC can upgrade for a nominal fee. Death Stranding Director's Cut is an enhanced version of pioneering creator Hideo Kojima's most avant-garde game to date. It follows Norman Reedus' Sam Porter Bridges as he gradually journeys across America to reconnect humanity. In our 2019 review of the game, Digital Trends noted that "it won't change the minds of Kojima detractors who believe he should simply focus on filmmaking, but the game’s thoughtful social elements illustrate why he remains such a crucial figure in the gaming industry."
