Unfortunately, some players have faced a bug that interrupts their progress in the main story, prompting Capcom to quickly work on a fix. To summarize the issue, a required NPC is missing, which prevents players from advancing in the game. Those who have reached Chapter 5-3 are unaffected and can continue without concern.

Capcom has not detailed the cause of this bug, but many players associate it with a patch released late Saturday night. This patch was one of several hotfixes aimed at resolving various minor glitches since the game’s launch, and some fans now believe this latest hotfix may have inadvertently caused issues.
Capcom plans to notify players once a solution is found. Meanwhile, there is ongoing demand for fixes to the optimization issues affecting PC and Steam users.
Despite these optimization challenges, Monster Hunter Wilds stands out as one of the franchise's most significant releases. It leverages the strengths of Monster Hunter World while addressing its weaknesses.

The third and fourth chapters of Deltarune are still forthcoming
Toby Fox, the creator of the highly praised Undertale, announced late yesterday that chapters three and four of Deltarune are still in development, with a significant amount of work yet to be completed. In a post on BlueSky, Fox mentioned he is "still console testing," and while he has encountered fewer bugs than earlier, there are still many to address—and he has not yet begun testing on the PlayStation 5.
This update follows the commencement of professional bug testing for the fourth chapter of the game on PC a month ago. Two weeks prior, Fox noted that he needs to implement and test trophies on PlayStation, as they are a requirement for the game's release on that platform.
