If you're just starting with the franchise and haven't yet learned all the tips and tricks, one key thing to understand is that Monster Hunter Wilds is meant to be played with friends. While you can manage with just your Palico for the first few hours, facing more formidable monsters will necessitate a team of hunters. You can summon support hunters if you're on your own, but since Monster Hunter Wilds supports cross-platform play, the optimal choice is to invite your friends. How to invite friends to Monster Hunter Wilds: There are multiple ways to invite friends to join you in Monster Hunter Wilds. After completing the initial tutorial missions, you can engage in the entire game in multiplayer mode.
Step 1: Launch Monster Hunter Wilds in either a recommended or private lobby. You can also look for an open lobby, but if it's full, you won't be able to add any friends.
Step 2: Pause the game and navigate to the Communication tab.
Step 3: Scroll down to select Invite a Friend.
Step 4: Here, you can pick a friend from your friend list or network, or create a Share Link to send a unique code directly to your friends so they can use their mobile device to join you. If your friend is on a different platform, go to the Communication tab, access the Player List, and enter their Hunter ID. Once located, you can send them a friend request and invite them.
Step 5: If a friend is sending you an invitation, select Invitation List to view all invitations and accept one to join their game. Monster Hunter Wilds also allows you to form Squads of up to 200 players, making it easy to keep friends organized for invitations from the Member List. Additionally, you can invite friends when starting a specific quest at the Quest Counter. For private lobbies, you'll need to share the lobby ID with your friend, which is located on the right side of the Communication menu. Regardless of the method chosen, the maximum player limit per quest is four, even though lobbies can accommodate up to 100 players.

How to turn off damage numbers in Avowed: A common feature in RPGs that indicates your power is the display of damage numbers. Avowed shows this for every attack and ability you use, which means you'll encounter numerous numbers during your gameplay. While they can occasionally be useful, it might be more distracting, especially in third-person view, as enemies also have health bars to reflect the damage dealt. How to transmog and hide gear in Avowed: In earlier RPGs, you often had to give up an armor set you liked for a new one with better stats. In Avowed, it's common knowledge that wearing more powerful gear is important, but you don't have to compromise on style. Especially in third-person view, it's important for your character to look cool while exploring and showcasing your flashy skills. Transmogrification has become increasingly popular lately and is available in Avowed, allowing you to equip the most powerful armor while retaining the appearance of your old favorites. Alternatively, you can completely hide your armor if desired. Here's how to do both.
