How to change Chrono Tokens into Units in Marvel Rivals.

Marvel Rivals, a superhero battle game by NetEase Games, has taken the gaming industry by storm since its release in December 2024, offering thrilling PVP action alongside a detailed cosmetic economy. The game features three currencies—Lattice, Units, and Chrono Tokens—each playing a key role in enhancing the player experience.

Lattice, the premium currency, can be purchased with real money, starting at $0.99 for 100 Lattice. It unlocks exclusive skins and bundles. Units, represented by blue coins, can be earned during gameplay or exchanged from Lattice at a 1:1 ratio for in-game items like character skins and emotes. Chrono Tokens, the purple currency associated with lightning, are primarily tied to the Battle Pass, rewarding players with both free and premium cosmetic items as they complete daily missions and challenges.

This diverse currency system creates a balance, making it accessible for free-to-play users while providing enticing options for those willing to spend, thus keeping the community engaged. As Season 1, Eternal Night Falls, approaches its conclusion, NetEase introduced a significant update in February 2025 that allows players to convert their excess Chrono Tokens into Units after finishing the Battle Pass. Here’s how the conversion works.

In Marvel Rivals, players with the Luxury Battle Pass can exchange Chrono Tokens for Units after fulfilling all Battle Pass rewards. This feature, added with the Season 1.5 update, enables players to trade their surplus Chrono Tokens, earned from daily missions and challenges, for Units that can be used to buy cosmetics in the store.

To convert tokens, go to the Battle Pass menu from the main screen, where an option to convert will appear once all rewards are unlocked. If you have enough Chrono Tokens, you can convert them at any time at a rate of 1,000 Tokens for 100 Units.

Unused Chrono Tokens will not carry over to the next season, so be sure to redeem them before the season ends in April 2025, after completing daily missions (which yield 30 tokens each) and more difficult challenges (worth 80 tokens). For instance, if you have 5,000 Chrono Tokens, you can get 500 Units, which is sufficient for lower-priced cosmetics. However, premium skins require 1,600 Units, which are not available to free-tier players and are exclusive to those who purchased the Luxury Battle Pass (costing 990 Lattice or about $9.99). Now that you’re aware, make the most of your Units for Season 1’s store by planning your gameplay efficiently.
