**Hurry Up Tomorrow (2025) Official Trailer – Abel Tesfaye, Jenna Ortega, Barry Keoghan**

The Weeknd's world is on the brink of collapse in the trailer for "Hurry Up Tomorrow," a forthcoming psychological thriller from Lionsgate. The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, portrays a version of himself as an artist struggling with insomnia. Just before a mental breakdown, he encounters a mysterious woman, played by Jenna Ortega, and embarks on a journey that "unravels the very core of his existence," according to Lionsgate’s synopsis.

“I know this feels really intense, but I’m not trying to hurt you,” Ortega's character tells Tesfaye while he lies subdued on a bed. “I’m truly sorry about this. I genuinely am.” Oscar nominee Barry Keoghan also stars in the film.

Schults explained to Entertainment Weekly that the film revolves around an artist “on the brink of a mental breakdown.” This movie is Schults’ fourth feature, following "Waves" (2019), "It Comes at Night" (2017), and "Krisha" (2015).

"Hurry Up Tomorrow" is inspired by The Weeknd’s album of the same name, which is set to be released on January 31, 2025. Positioned as the final album under the Weeknd brand, it completes a trilogy that includes "After Hours" (2020) and "Dawn FM" (2022). The album is anticipated to exceed 350,000 sales in its first week, making it Tesfaye's fifth number-one album.

This film marks Tesfaye’s first acting role since HBO’s "The Idol" in 2023, a drama that received critical scrutiny and featured a pop star (Lily-Rose Depp) and her complex relationship with a cult leader (Tesfaye). "Hurry Up Tomorrow" is set to premiere in theaters on May 16, 2025.
