Aqara.ru announced the launch of a new device on the Russian market - Aqara Presence Sensor FP2. The device is capable of detecting the presence of people even when they are not moving, supporting division into 30 zones and tracking up to five people simultaneously. The Aqara Presence Sensor FP2 detects not only motion, but also the very presence of a person in a room. This makes it suitable for automating processes, such as turning on lights or appliances, based on the location of users. The ability to be zoned into 30 areas allows you to customize automation scenarios, which is especially useful for use in homes and offices. Modes of operation: The fall detection mode will be useful for caring for the elderly or people with disabilities. The device detects sudden changes in body position and sends notifications to your smartphone. In sleep monitoring mode, the device tracks real-time sleep metrics, collecting data for further analysis. In out-of-home mode, it automatically activates security systems, including alarms and security camera recording. This makes it possible to automate the control of curtains and other devices.Aqara FP2 uses millimeter-wave radar technology to accurately detect the presence and position of people. Unlike infrared sensors, its operation does not depend on motion or temperature changes. The data is processed locally, which protects privacy and ensures high responsiveness. The device supports the configuration of up to 30 zones in a single room, each of which can be set up with individual automation scenarios. Example scenarios: Automatic lighting: Controls the light according to the movement of people in the room. Sleep mode: When a person is in bed, the sensor reduces the light in the bedroom. Night lighting: When a person gets up at night, it activates a soft light for safe movement. Morning comfort: Activates the coffee machine or kettle upon waking up. Curtain control: Open The device can be integrated with the Apple Home system, however zone settings are done through Aqara Home and then synchronized with Apple Home.
