Fujitsu has unveiled the lightweight FMV Note U laptop
Japanese company Fujitsu has introduced a new notebook FMV Note U, which, according to the manufacturer, is the world's lightest device that meets the requirements of the Copilot+PC standard. The notebook weighs only 848 grams and is 17.3 mm thick. FMV Note U is equipped with a 14-inch screen with a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels, providing high image sharpness and comfortable work. The device is powered by Intel's next-generation Lunar Lake processors: the Core Ultra 7 258V or Core Ultra 5 226V depending on the configuration. Users can choose between 16GB or 32GB of RAM and SSD storage ranging from 256GB to 2TB.Image: fmworld_net One of the key features of the FMV Note U is its long battery life - the laptop can function for up to 36 hours on a single charge. The compact charger weighs just 112 grams, making transportation of the notebook and accessories as convenient as possible.Image: fmworld_net Despite its light weight, the FMV Note U features a sturdy construction. The device is MIL-STD-810H certified, which guarantees resistance to vibrations, drops, as well as temperature and humidity fluctuations. Fujitsu has not sacrificed functionality for compactness. FMV Note U is equipped with an extensive set of ports: Two Thunderbolt 4 ports; Two USB-A ports; HDMI 2.1; microSD card slot; 3.5mm audio jack; Gigabit Ethernet for wired network connection.Image: fmworld_petIn addition, the notebook supports Wi-Fi 7 wireless standard, providing high-speed data transfer and stable connection.Image: fmworld_net At the moment FMV Note U is available exclusively in the Japanese market. The base model with a Core Ultra 5 processor, 16GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD costs ¥214,000 (roughly $1,375). The top-end configuration with a Core Ultra 7 processor, 32GB of RAM and a 2TB SSD will cost 332,800 yen (about $2,139). There is no information on international sales yet.
