It features a camera, utilizes AI, and has a companion app that can be installed on your smartphone.

I never thought I would write this, but there exists a toothbrush priced similarly to a mid-range Android smartphone that includes Wi-Fi connectivity and an integrated camera.

Dyson has just introduced the CameraJet, a toothbrush equipped with a real camera and an AI detection system. It has been specifically designed to identify and eliminate the gaps between teeth that standard toothbrushes often overlook.

So, how does this camera-equipped toothbrush function?

Like its other products, Dyson has made this one a showcase of advanced technology. The company created a solution called Gap Optical Targeting, which combines a tiny 100,000-pixel camera with an AI system that seeks out gaps between your teeth.

Once it detects a gap, it releases a cone-shaped spray of mouthrinse into it, which broadens upon contact and effectively removes plaque in a single motion. Simultaneously, the spray is gentle enough to prevent gum irritation or enamel damage.

Instead of the conventional straw-in-a-cup water reservoir that tends to produce air bubbles when tilted, the CameraJet includes a diaphragm pump and pressure chamber that maintain the 12.5 ml tank. This innovative design ensures that mouthrinse is dispensed steadily, regardless of how you hold the brush.

What will it actually set you back?

The charging dock can refill in just three seconds with a button press, and it comes with a travel case. Regarding the toothbrush itself, it employs two types of bristles: firmer bristles on the inside for stain removal and softer bristles on the outside to safeguard your gums.

Each brush head is equipped with an RFID chip to monitor your usage. The device connects via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to the MyDyson app, where you can view a live camera feed that allows you to see your teeth as a dentist would. It also outlines which areas you are cleaning effectively and which you are neglecting.

If you didn’t anticipate this, the Dyson CameraJet starts at $499—about the same price as the Google Pixel 10a in the U.S. In the package, you receive the electronic toothbrush, the dock, two brush heads, and a charging cable. It is available now in Ceramic Ultra Blue or Ceramic Pink, through Dyson Demo Stores or directly on the official website.

Ultrahuman wants your sleep data to enhance its Ring's ability to provide personalized health insights.

Ultrahuman believes that regular sleep data gathered from countless individuals can address the limitations of small laboratory studies. New health wearables, particularly rings, have long had a recognized blind spot in their data processing—most scores are based on a limited, controlled group of people. Ultrahuman has proposed a solution called Pulsomics, a program that transforms the sleep data of Ring owners into research insights that could genuinely benefit all users.

Why the next generation of home AI is equipped with wheels and a personality.

OlloBot is shifting technology from the countertop into everyday life with an engaging new companion. For the last decade, interactions with home artificial intelligence have followed a predictable pattern: a person uses a wake word, requests the weather or asks to turn off the lights, and the device responds, concluding the exchange. While functional, this keeps smart devices in a strictly transactional role. OlloBot is taking a different direction with the OlloNi SS1, an embodied AI companion that features artificial intelligence integrated into a physical, mobile form rather than being confined to a screen.
