DJI has expanded the global availability of the Osmo Pocket 4P, which was initially restricted to China. It is now offered in the UK, Europe, Canada, and Australia, though it is still unavailable in the US.
The Standard Combo is priced at £529 or €599 and includes the camera, a fill light, a carrying pouch, and a handle with a tripod thread. In Canada, the same bundle is listed at US$619, with prices shown in US dollars on the Canadian site. The Vlog Combo is priced at £605, €689, or US$669 in Canada, and includes a Mic Mini 2, a Mini Tripod, a larger carrying bag, and the Osmo FrameTap remote.
The additional camera represents a significant upgrade.
The Osmo Pocket 4P features a 1-inch primary sensor alongside a 20mm equivalent f/2.0 lens, supporting up to 17 stops of dynamic range through DJI’s new 10-bit D-Log 2 profile, giving creators more flexibility to modify highlights, shadows, and colors during the editing process.
A major enhancement is the inclusion of a second 1/1.28-inch sensor with a 60mm equivalent f/1.8 telephoto lens, which provides 3x optical zoom and offers creators additional framing options for portraits, products, and distant subjects without relying solely on digital cropping. The wide camera can record slow-motion video at up to 4K/240 fps, while the telephoto can capture at 4K/200 fps. The device features a 2-inch OLED screen with 1,000 nits of brightness and is claimed to offer up to 210 minutes of battery life.
Why is the US still excluded?
DJI has not yet provided US pricing or a release date for the Pocket 4P. The company has encountered challenges with its recent product launches due to the FCC increasing restrictions around DJI and foreign-manufactured technology. Older devices like the Osmo Pocket 3 are still available since they received authorization prior to the new regulations.
The government has also extended the same Covered List policy to include foreign-manufactured robots, affecting future robot vacuums and Roombas. Thus, for creators in the US, the Pocket 4P is just another DJI product available elsewhere but not officially purchasable at home.
