      According to Gizmochina, Liu Baoyou, general manager of OnePlus China, used a recent event at the Snapdragon Gaming Technology Showcase to highlight what to expect. He affirmed that the OnePlus 16 will introduce upgraded versions of three existing gaming features: the Fengchi Gaming Kernel, Extreme High Refresh Rate, and Esports Triple Chip. However, he did not elaborate on the nature of these enhancements.

      Liu also emphasized the brand's growth, noting a 13% year-over-year increase in sales during the first half of 2026, which he claimed made OnePlus the fastest-growing phone brand in that time frame. Although he did not disclose additional information about the OnePlus 16, an unofficial poster circulating on Chinese social media provides a rough idea of the phone’s potential appearance, which differs from prior leaks.

      OnePlus 16 may reintroduce the circular camera design

      The poster shows a concealed OnePlus device, revealing limited details at first glance. However, a closer look suggests that the top section features a circular camera array with three camera units and an LED flash, akin to the design used on the OnePlus 13.

      This contradicts information from tipster Digital Chat Station, who claimed that the new device would closely resemble the OnePlus 15 but with a smaller square camera module.
