I use ChatGPT Pro on a daily basis, and these three features are the reasons I maintain my subscription.

      I’ve been using ChatGPT for several years, but for a long time, I didn’t feel the need to pay for it. Instead, I opted for a Claude Pro subscription as it better suited my workflow. With regular chat and Cowork, I had everything I required in one platform, so it didn’t make sense to pay for another AI service.

      This perspective shifted when OpenAI launched ChatGPT Work. I was curious enough to try ChatGPT Pro thoroughly, initially anticipating I would test a new feature and move on. However, I ended up using it more than I had anticipated. The more I depended on it for my everyday tasks, the more I recognized it had several features I didn’t want to part with. These three functions have kept me happily subscribed ever since.

      The first feature I experimented with was ChatGPT Sites, which I didn’t expect to enjoy as much as I did. This feature allows you to create and share a live website or lightweight app using Codex. All you need to do is describe your requirements, and ChatGPT will construct it for you. I aimed for a more serene, intentional method to organize my day. While I always appreciated the concept of Windows’ Focus Sessions, I wanted something more personal and motivating. So, I typed “productivity” into ChatGPT Sites and detailed the kind of experience I desired. That was enough to get it going.

      Just a few minutes later — precisely five minutes and 32 seconds — I had a fully operational website named Momentum. Throughout the process, ChatGPT allowed me to modify the design, make some adjustments, and choose what I wanted to retain or alter, all without having to write a single line of code. The outcome exceeded my expectations. Every morning, Momentum greets me by name, creates a personalized to-do list based on my energy levels for the day, and offers a brief overview of the upcoming week. It’s sleek, minimalistic, and wonderfully devoid of clutter, motivating me to return to it rather than avoiding it as I do with many productivity apps.

      What astonished me the most was not only how well the website turned out, but also how effortless the entire process felt. In the past, creating something like this would require learning to code or navigating complicated website builders. Now, I can transform an idea into a functional website simply by describing it in plain language. Since developing Momentum, I’ve consistently found myself thinking of new ideas to create, returning to ChatGPT Sites to bring them to fruition.

      The feature that gives my mind a break

      What I appreciate even more is that ChatGPT Work can handle small tasks that would otherwise occupy space in my mind. A perfect example is a pair of heels I had been wanting to purchase for months. I was quite certain that the price would drop during the upcoming sale, yet I didn’t want to keep checking the product page daily for updates. So, I delegated that task to ChatGPT Work. I merely asked it to monitor the listing and inform me of any significant changes, such as a price drop or other important updates. That was all it took.

      It may seem like a minor task, but it made a more significant difference than I anticipated. Instead of repeatedly refreshing the same page and worrying about missing a deal, I could forget about it entirely and concentrate on my work. This is what I value most about ChatGPT Work; it manages tasks that don’t require my constant attention, freeing up more mental space for everything else.

      Overwhelmed by excess files? That’s no longer my issue

      If there’s one thing that sends me into a tailspin quickly, it’s opening a folder filled with spreadsheets, documents, and screenshots that all demand my attention. And if Google Sheets is involved? I typically put it off for as long as possible. That’s where ChatGPT Work has been incredibly beneficial. I upload everything — spreadsheets, documents, photos, or screenshots — provide some context about what I’m trying to analyze, and let it handle the hard work. If a spreadsheet is filled with numbers, I ask it to pinpoint the crucial information instead of making me sift through hundreds of cells.

      It’s not instantaneous. Depending on the volume I’ve uploaded, it might take a few minutes to process everything. But once completed, the information is neatly organized, easy to understand, and presented in a logical way. Instead of feeling overwhelmed by data, I can dive straight into the insights I need. That said, I still make it a point to verify anything critical before taking action. AI isn’t flawless, and it shouldn’t replace your own judgment. However, as a means to make dense files and daunting spreadsheets feel significantly less intimidating, ChatGPT Work has proven consistently reliable in my daily tasks.
