**Quick Review**
The Magic V6 is the most comprehensive large foldable I’ve used in a long time, which is impressive given the competition. It exemplifies overall excellence, if I may say so. The IP68 and IP69 water resistance ratings are a first in this category. The battery lasts throughout your day, no matter how intensively you use it. Additionally, the camera system ranks among the best you can find on any book-style foldable currently available.
Having previously dismissed foldables due to unsatisfactory experiences with flip phones, the Magic V6 has changed my perspective on this form factor—not merely through novelty, but by being a genuinely great phone that just happens to fold. It’s not without its flaws, however.
The CPU performance is dialed down in the default balanced mode, which seems odd for a phone equipped with the most powerful Android chip available. The crease is still noticeable, while other devices like the Oppo Find N6 have successfully achieved a zero-crease display. Lastly, the camera bump is prominent enough to make the phone feel top-heavy. However, these issues do not diminish my overall experience. If you're looking for a large foldable in 2026, this is the one to consider.

**Honor Magic V6 Design and Build: Engineering That Justifies Its Price**
I have handled many phones over the years, but the Magic V6 is unique in that people often find themselves staring at it from across the room. Its astonishingly slim profile contributes to this, along with the gold hinges exhibiting a subtle triangular texture, and its ability to fold into a compact shape that fits comfortably in my pocket.
At just 4mm thick when unfolded, it is the thinnest large foldable available. When folded, its thickness measures 8.75mm, comparable to an iPhone 17 Pro Max, which is always striking in person.
The white model I reviewed features aerospace-grade special fiber on the back, providing the appearance and texture of frosted aluminum. At 219g, it is the lightest option compared to the 224g weight of the red, gold, and black variants. The white is the most minimalistic of the four but can be

Honor Magic V6 review: I had my doubts about this stylish foldable, but it exceeded all expectations.
The Honor Magic V6 stands out as the most well-rounded large foldable device available. It is the first to achieve both IP68 and IP69 ratings, features the finest camera system among large foldables, and delivers battery life that outmatches many traditional smartphones. The only drawbacks are the crease and a complex performance setup, but these do not detract significantly from the overall recommendation.
