The MSI MEG Vision X2 AI+ desktop features a holostage that provides entertainment with an AI pet.
MSI's MEG Vision X2 AI+ redefines the gaming desktop experience, featuring a cylindrical Holostage display integrated into the chassis that provides a dedicated space for your AI companion.
Gaming desktops have progressively become smarter with enhancements in cooling, faster processors, and an abundance of RGB lighting. However, MSI has set out to stand out by introducing something truly innovative at Computex 2026.
The Taiwanese firm has launched a gaming desktop, notable for its integrated cylindrical display, designed solely to provide a physical representation of your AI companion.
What is the AI Holostage and what is its purpose?
The MEG Vision X2 AI+ is MSI’s flagship gaming desktop, positioned at the pinnacle of its MEG product range. Its standout feature is the AI Holostage, a cylindrical display that is seamlessly incorporated into the chassis rather than serving as a separate accessory.
The Holostage allows digital companions, desktop pets, and customized third-party AI avatars to have a tangible presence on your desk. Out of the box, the system comes pre-configured with MSI’s AI companion named LuckyClaw.
LuckyClaw serves as MSI’s agentic AI companion, responding to natural voice commands and enabling users to control performance profiles, MSI monitor settings, and RGB lighting hands-free.
Additionally, the chassis boasts a tool-free upgradeable design, which, while visually appealing, may not provide substantial practical utility.
What hardware powers the MEG Vision X2 AI+?
The MEG Vision X2 AI+ is equipped with the Intel Core Ultra 7 265 processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card that supports DLSS 4.5, with MSI’s Silent Storm Cooling AI system managing thermal performance.
Pricing and availability have not yet been disclosed in the official announcement. It remains to be seen whether the Holostage will become a defining aspect of gaming PCs or merely an elaborate desktop accessory. Nonetheless, as a bold declaration of intent, it is difficult to overlook.
Some well-known gaming desktop brands like Asus, Razer, and Lenovo have experimented with virtual assistants within their software ecosystems. However, MSI is the first to feature a companion with a designated physical display integrated into the chassis.

Microsoft's OneDrive is introducing an AI feature that suggests file names so you don't have to.
Copilot Suggested Rename, a new feature, analyzes the contents of your OneDrive files and automatically proposes clearer, more descriptive names. Renaming files is often perceived as a minor task, yet it becomes overwhelming when faced with a folder full of documents labeled as Document1, Scan_04182026, and FinalFINALv3. Microsoft aims to address this issue.
Scheduled for rollout beginning June 2026 as part of Microsoft 365, this AI-driven OneDrive feature streamlines the renaming process and saves time for users.
The Radeon RX 9070 GRE is making its global debut after an initial launch in China.
The Radeon RX 9070 GRE has officially launched worldwide at Computex 2026. AMD first introduced this RDNA 4-based GPU in China in May 2025, so this marks a broader release rather than a completely new graphics card. It will be available from board partners starting June 2, offering both standard and overclocked versions, with a suggested retail price of $549.
Windows 11 is finally tackling key frustrations linked to its universal Search system.
Microsoft has made a functional yet genuinely beneficial enhancement to Windows Search in the latest Insider Preview build of Windows 11. This update allows partial terms to bring up compound file names regardless of their position, not just at the beginning, a welcome fix that users have been waiting for.
