Spotify's Reserved feature holds two concert tickets for top Premium fans prior to the general public sale.

Acquiring concert tickets has often felt like an uphill struggle. You arrive at the right moment, refresh the page repeatedly, and still leave empty-handed. Scalpers and bots grab the prime seats before genuine fans get a chance.

This is the motivation behind Spotify's introduction of Reserved, a new feature that secures two concert tickets for the most devoted fans of an artist before they become available for the public sale.

Reserved is available to eligible Premium subscribers in the US only. A maximum of 2 tickets can be purchased. Specific tours only. Limited availability; not guaranteed. Fees may apply. Non-transferable. Sold by third parties, subject to terms. Refer to https://t.co/KEPRAmp1Tj for details.— Spotify (@Spotify) May 21, 2026

How does Spotify determine who is eligible for Reserved?

Spotify will recognize superfans through genuine engagement metrics like streams, shares, and various activities on the platform. Additionally, the system will actively track accounts to ensure that offers are sent to real fans rather than bots.

If you are eligible, you will receive an email and an in-app notification giving you approximately a day to complete your purchase through a ticketing partner. There are no extra fees from Spotify on top of the ticket price.

However, the availability will differ by artist, tour, and location; therefore, make sure your preferred location is set in Spotify’s Live Events Feed and that notifications are enabled.

Most importantly, there will generally be many more superfans than available seats for any given tour, so qualifying for Reserved does not ensure you will receive an offer every time.

When will Spotify Reserved be launched?

Reserved is set to debut this summer with select newly announced tours and will gradually expand to more shows of varying sizes, including some of the most sought-after concerts.

Currently, it is available only to Premium subscribers aged 18 and older in the US, with additional countries to follow later. Your location also affects eligibility, so if a tour isn't making its way to your area, don't expect a Reserved offer for that artist.

In addition, Spotify has announced plans to allow Premium users to create AI-powered covers and remixes of their favorite songs for an extra fee.

Motorola Raze Fold reintroduced me to the phone stylus, leading me to realize how much I missed it.

Motorola's Razr Fold with a stylus shouldn’t be this enjoyable.

Initially, I accepted that phone styluses catered to a specific user demographic. A few people prefer taking notes the traditional way to some extent, while artists find value in them, or Galaxy Ultra loyalists stand by their use. However, for most, a stylus doesn't inherently improve the user experience.

So when I began using the Motorola Razr Fold with the Moto Pen Ultra, I didn't anticipate it would change my perception. A stylus on a foldable seems logical because it provides a larger canvas. Nonetheless, the practicality of phone pens often doesn’t match the expectations. The Moto Pen Ultra surprised me as Motorola hasn’t treated it merely as a small writing implement. It functions more like a remote control, a shortcut tool, and a sketchpad companion, all bundled into one accessory.

New research highlights that poor screen habits significantly contribute to the sleep and mental health issues faced by young people.

New findings reveal 175 connections between screen habits, inadequate sleep, and mental distress among young adults.

If you’ve ever stayed up late scrolling and felt worse the next morning, you're not imagining it. A recent study from the University of Copenhagen has precisely outlined why many young people appear trapped in cycles of poor sleep and declining mental health.

Researchers identified 29 interlinked factors and 175 causal connections across biological, psychological, and social dimensions that can ensnare young adults aged 18 to 40 in what they describe as self-perpetuating vicious cycles of mental distress (via EurakAlert).
