By clicking on an embedded video and selecting “Watch on YouTube,” they triggered a hidden browser on the console, enabling Switch 2 owners to watch YouTube videos with some limitations.

      Videos were restricted to 360p resolution, available only in full-screen, with glitchy thumbnails and no option to sign into a YouTube account. However, it was functional, and after nearly eleven months without any streaming apps, this was enough to generate excitement among users.
