      Lovable is expanding its AI-driven vibe coding platform beyond desktop use with a new mobile app now accessible on both iOS and Android. This development brings its fundamental promise—creating apps by merely describing them—to a more casual and mobile-friendly workflow.

      Transform ideas into apps from anywhere

      As reported by TechCrunch, Lovable’s mobile application enables users to develop web apps and websites using either text or voice prompts, effectively transforming rough concepts into functional projects within minutes. Rather than following a traditional development process, users can articulate their desires and let the system manage the execution.

      Once a prompt is given, the app’s AI agent can operate independently. Users also have the option to review and modify the underlying code if necessary and can queue prompts for further iterations while the AI performs its tasks.

      Synchronization across devices

      The mobile application is intended to enhance desktop use rather than replace it. Projects seamlessly sync between phone and computer, allowing users to switch devices without losing their progress.

      The app also supports asynchronous updates, alerting users when builds are complete instead of demanding constant monitoring. The outcome is a workflow that feels more like task management than active development.

      Why this is significant

      The timing of Lovable’s release is noteworthy. Apple has recently set clearer limitations regarding vibe coding applications, prohibiting updates from platforms such as Replit and Vibecode for breaching its developer guidelines. The issue isn’t with the idea itself, but rather how these apps manage code.

      Applications that download new code or alter functionality post-approval pose security risks and complicate Apple’s review process when it comes to validating what is being released. For a similar reason, an app called Anything was briefly removed from the App Store before returning with modifications.

      Lovable seems to avoid these limitations by concentrating on web-based outputs, moving app previews to the browser instead of running them within the app. This strategy keeps it aligned with Apple’s guidelines while maintaining its essential features.
