Turtle Beach has included a controls display on its Command Series MC7 gaming mouse.
Turtle Beach has always excelled at creating equipment that seems as if it was developed by someone who couldn't resist adding more features. Their slogan, ‘Seriously Unserious,’ aligns perfectly with the new MC7 gaming mouse, which embodies a maximalist's fantasy, including a small command screen integrated into the mouse. Apparently, a keyboard, stream deck, phone, monitor overlay, and software dashboard weren't sufficient.
A compact stream deck in the shape of a mouse
The standout feature of the MC7 is its 2.25-inch Command Touch Display. According to Turtle Beach, this display enables users to adjust DPI, switch profiles, execute macros, launch apps, control OBS and Streamlabs, manage audio, and monitor PC or game data in real-time. Essentially, this mouse is aimed to serve as both a gaming peripheral and a mini control panel, primarily to reduce the need for frequent alt-tabbing.

Streamers and multitaskers will likely benefit most from the MC7. It manages microphone muting, scene switching, and audio balancing across Discord, Spotify, and games, all without requiring an additional device. It's somewhat extravagant, but that seems to be the main intent.
The serious aspect of this unserious mouse
Despite the whimsical concept, Turtle Beach has incorporated the expected high-end functionalities. The MC7 features tri-mode connectivity, which includes 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth, and wired USB. It also boasts true 8K polling with an asserted 0.125ms latency, an Owl-Eye 30K optical sensor, Titan Optical Switches rated for 150 million clicks, and an adaptive 4D scroll wheel that can alternate between tactile steps and smooth free-spin scrolling.

The power system is equally overdeveloped. Turtle Beach provides two 1,000mAh hot-swappable batteries and a charging dock, allowing one battery to recharge while the other keeps the mouse operational. The MC7 supports up to 33 programmable functions, five onboard profiles, RGB lighting, and Swarm II software for extensive customization.
The Turtle Beach Command Series MC7 is available for pre-order at a price of $159.99, with shipping anticipated on July 19, 2026. For this price, you could also acquire the Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2, but the premium cost may seem justifiable considering this mouse essentially aspires to function as a stream deck as well.
