**Crime 101 (2026)**
Amazon MGM Studios
Currently, one of the best films to catch on Amazon Prime Video is one that many overlooked in theaters. Despite a capable cast, a strong script, and competent direction, Crime 101 was a box office disappointment.
Chris Hemsworth stars as Mike Davis, a meticulous jewel thief whose skillful heists along Los Angeles's 101 Freeway have left the LAPD perplexed. Mark Ruffalo plays the detective gradually piecing together the puzzle, while Halle Berry portrays an insurance broker caught up with both men. Directed by Bart Layton and adapted from Don Winslow’s novella, this film delivers a gripping narrative worthy of its comparisons to Heat.
