      Adobe has been secretly developing something significant within Firefly, its comprehensive creative AI studio. Today, the company is ready to unveil it.

      Introducing the Firefly AI Assistant, a conversational tool that allows you to describe your desired creation and manages the implementation across Adobe's entire suite of applications, including Photoshop, Premiere, Lightroom, Express, and Illustrator.

      You no longer have to switch between applications; now, you can perform all edits using straightforward text prompts. The concept is easy: you provide the vision and creative direction, input a prompt for Firefly, and the assistant will take care of the rest.

      What exactly can it do for you?

      The assistant operates using what Adobe refers to as Creative Skills, which are pre-defined workflows for common tasks, such as editing portrait photos with consistent presets or simultaneously generating content for various social media platforms. You can utilize the pre-existing options from Adobe or create your own AI skills.

      Additionally, it tracks your preferences over time, including your favorite tools, aesthetic choices, and preferred output styles. The more you engage with it, the better it learns your personal style.

      One significant challenge with AI creation tools has been delivering uniform results throughout larger projects. Adobe claims to have addressed this issue, and if their claims hold true, it could be a transformative tool for contemporary creators.

      What other updates are included in Firefly?

      In addition to the assistant, Adobe has integrated several other features. The Firefly Video Editor now includes automatic dialogue cleanup, color adjustment tools, and access to over 800 million licensed Adobe Stock assets directly from the editor.

      Two new image editing features are also being introduced. Precision Flow allows users to explore a variety of options from a single prompt using a slider. AI Markup enables drawing directly on an image to position objects, modify lighting, or add elements using a brush.

      Firefly has also added Kling 3.0 and Kling 3.0 Omni to its expanding collection of AI video models, joining over 30 existing models on the platform.
