      According to Tomasino, Scorpion Scan was designed to address the practical challenges faced by small installation companies. The platform enables installers to access a digital database of patterns for windows and vehicles via a mobile device. Once a pattern is chosen, instructions can be dispatched directly to compatible cutting machinery, allowing the film to be ready without the need for manual measuring or cutting.

      Tomasino states that one of the initial focuses was to streamline the installation process. “If you can eliminate unnecessary steps from the workflow, small businesses achieve greater consistency and confidence in their processes,” he comments, observing that accuracy in installation and operational clarity often go hand in hand.

      He also underscores the operational insight behind the software.       The company is currently working on improvements that could enable devices to communicate more directly with cutting equipment, potentially decreasing reliance on internet connections and allowing for more locations to prepare installations.
