GIGABYTE has introduced a new OLED monitor.

The company has announced the launch of the MO27Q2A ICE gaming monitor. The new model features a 27-inch QD-OLED panel in a white casing.

The model operates at a QHD resolution (2560 by 1440 pixels) and a refresh rate of 280 Hz. The response time of the matrix is 0.03 ms. The monitor has a VESA ClearMR 15000 certification, indicating a low level of blur in dynamic scenes.

The device supports the DisplayHDR True Black 400 standard and covers 99 percent of the DCI-P3 color space. Color accuracy is rated with a Delta E deviation of less than 2. In HDR mode, Peak 1000 brightness reaches 1000 nits, providing deep black color and high contrast. The monitor is compatible with NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technologies, which eliminate screen tearing.

The model is aimed at gamers who require extremely high image quality. The Ultra Clear mode uses Black Frame Insertion (BFI) technology and reduces motion blur. When connected to a console with a 120 Hz refresh rate, this mode significantly enhances clarity, bringing it closer to that of a display with double the refresh rate.

The Tactical Switch 2.0 feature allows for quick switching between 16:9, 4:3, and 5:4 formats. The active screen area can also be reduced to 24 inches to better focus on gameplay in shooters. The VRR Anti-Flicker technology regulates the variable refresh rate range and reduces flicker in dynamic scenes.

For prolonged use, an AI OLED Care system is provided. It manages pixel refresh and reduces the risk of burn-in. The design uses graphene thermal film and passive cooling without fans, ensuring silent heat dissipation.

The MO27Q2A ICE model combines a high refresh rate, accurate color reproduction, and image management features. The white casing makes the monitor a suitable option for bright interiors. The device is designed for those who value speed and immersion in the gaming experience.
