      After years of speculation and leaks, the launch of Apple’s iPhone Fold appears to be drawing near, with Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, known for his reliable Apple insights, suggesting it could debut in September 2026.

      Recently, Nikkei Asia raised concerns about development issues with the iPhone Fold, particularly during testing phases. However, Gurman counters this by stating that despite its intricate design, Apple remains focused on the September launch timeframe.

      Is the iPhone Fold’s launch schedule still intact?

      While initial supplies may be limited compared to other iPhones, the launch timeline remains unchanged. Does this mean the expected iPhone Fold will be available for purchase alongside the iPhone 18 Pro models in September 2026? It appears unlikely.

      Apple plans to unveil the iPhone Fold with the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max this September, but the actual shipping might occur later. In his newsletter, Gurman likened the anticipated foldable to the iPhone X.

      When can we expect the iPhone Fold to be shipped?

      Apple introduced the groundbreaking iPhone X in September 2007, yet deliveries didn’t start until November. The Fold might follow a similar trajectory, possibly reaching consumers by December this year.
