Even Reality's G2 has introduced its most significant software update to date, featuring an app store and a meeting preparation tool that transforms your workflow.

      Even Realities has unveiled its largest software update since the G2 smart glasses were released, making them truly essential and useful.

      The standout feature is Prep Notes, an enhanced version of the Conversate AI tool. Prior to any meeting, call, or interview, you can now upload a PDF, document, or directly enter notes from your phone. As the conversation unfolds, the glasses display relevant information on the heads-up display (HUD), offering suggested responses and critical details.

      The new upload capability allows you to provide context before any meeting, ensuring you’re well-prepared instead of frantically searching through notes at the last minute.

      Can your glasses take over your pre-meeting preparations?

      The quick answer is edging closer to yes. By uploading a pertinent file, the AI can auto-summarize the document and present a readable format on your HUD.

      You can also create multiple Prep Notes and toggle between them, which is incredibly helpful if you’re a salesperson moving through various clients or pitch decks throughout the day.

      Additionally, Even Realities has revamped the display UI based on user input. The older version had too much information crammed on the screen, while the new design is cleaner and conceals elements until they are needed.

      What else is on the horizon for the G2?

      Another significant enhancement is Even Hub, an open application platform enabling developers to create apps specifically for the glasses. Currently, around 60 applications are available, including everything from chess to Tesla car management, developed by a community of roughly 2,000 developers.

      Even Realities emphasizes privacy measures: apps can only request the minimum permissions necessary. Product Manager David stated, “If your app isn’t using microphones, then we’ll prevent the API from being accessed.”

      It’s reassuring that Even Realities is prioritizing privacy and an open development platform. With recent reports of Meta sharing personal recordings to train its AI, it’s crucial for companies like Even Realities to stay transparent and implement robust privacy safeguards.

      Prep Notes is now available in the Even Realities app, and Even Hub will launch next week.
