Today, the same source (Android Headlines, in collaboration with OnLeaks) has released CAD renders of another Samsung foldable, referred to as the Fold 8 Wide, at least by this outlet.
For those who are just catching up, the Fold 8 Wide is a brand-new, wider foldable that the company is set to introduce this summer, with the intention of competing against Apple's rumored iPhone Fold.
What does the Fold 8 Wide actually look like?

The Fold 8 Wide abandons the tall, narrow design characteristic of Samsung’s current foldables, which unfurl into a large but oddly shaped screen not ideally suited for viewing content in its intended orientation.
The high-quality renders show that the phone has a shorter, wider shape (think passport rather than paperback), enabling the unfolded inner screen to have a more practical aspect ratio for content consumption. The overall profile resembles the software animation leaked in February 2026.
In terms of size, it opens to 123.9 x 161.4 x 4.9mm (4.3mm without the bezels) and folds to 123.9 x 82.2 x 9.8mm, making it slightly bulkier than the Fold 7.
Taking the camera bump into account, the thickness is 14.6 mm, a sizable measurement for a dual-camera setup.

Interestingly, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide appears to feature only two rear cameras in the alleged renders, reflecting the strategy Samsung employed with the ultra-thin Galaxy S25 Edge and its clamshell-style Galaxy Z Flip devices. However, specifics regarding camera sensor size and resolution remain unclear.
The leak suggests a 5.4-inch external display and a 7.6-inch inner flexible panel for the upcoming device. It is expected to come in variants with 12GB and 16GB of RAM, alongside storage choices of 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB.
Notably, the battery capacity may align with the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 8 at 5,000mAh, with the same wired fast charging capabilities peaking at 45W output. The report also indicates a launch in Summer 2026, which should coincide with Samsung's second annual Unpacked event.
