The latest collection features upgrades to Neo QLED models and new Mini LED options across various price ranges.
Samsung has officially introduced its TV lineup for 2026, with a clear emphasis on enhancing Mini LED displays and integrating advanced AI functionalities into more affordable options.
According to the company's announcement, the new range comprises refreshed Neo QLED 4K TVs as well as an entirely new series of Mini LED TVs, offering improved brightness, contrast, and AI-driven enhancements for a broader spectrum of consumers. The intention is not solely to upgrade flagship models, but to also make high-end display technology more accessible.
What’s new in Samsung’s 2026 TVs?
The most significant alteration is Samsung's reorganization of its lineup. At the premium end of the Mini LED spectrum are the Neo QLED models such as the QN80H and QN70H, which utilize Quantum Mini LED backlighting combined with quantum dot technology for enhanced brightness and color precision. These models are equipped with real-time AI optimization, which enhances both picture quality and sound based on the content being viewed.
Samsung has also introduced a new selection of standard Mini LED TVs (like the M70H and M80H), which are more budget-friendly yet still feature Mini LED backlighting, albeit without certain premium aspects such as quantum dot color to maintain lower pricing. Notably, Samsung is discontinuing some older models, including the QN90 series, as it shifts its focus towards newer display technologies and reorganizes its lineup.
Regarding features, a key highlight is the inclusion of Vision AI Companion in the new TVs. This technology aims to provide a more personalized viewing experience by optimizing picture quality in real time and enhancing lower-resolution content. Additional features like AI upscaling and HDR improvement are designed to make older content appear sharper and more vibrant, which is increasingly important given the variability in streaming quality.
