Samsung's upcoming mid-range Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37 have officially received their launch date.
Samsung's upcoming mid-range smartphones have an official launch date
After weeks of rumors and teasers, Samsung has officially announced the launch date for its next Galaxy A-series smartphones. The Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 will officially debut on March 25th, 2026, in India at 5:30 PM IST.
This corresponds to approximately 8 AM ET / 5 AM PT for a global audience. Although Samsung has not directly named the devices in its announcements, all details point towards the anticipated mid-range pair.
What to anticipate
While complete specifications and features will be disclosed at the launch event, prior leaks have already provided substantial information regarding what to expect. Both models are anticipated to have a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a robust 5,000mAh battery, support for 45W wired fast charging, and will run on Android 16 OS with One UI 8.5 right out of the box.
The Galaxy A57 is projected to be the pricier variant, likely featuring the newer Exynos 1680 chipset, whereas the Galaxy A37 might be powered by an Exynos 1480 processor. The camera configurations are expected to follow a familiar pattern, including a 50MP main camera, an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a macro lens. Thus, the latest mid-range models are expected to deliver incremental improvements over the Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36.
A recognizable design
Initial leaks have provided a look at the Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37, indicating that Samsung is maintaining its existing A-series design style. This means a flat display, a vertically aligned triple camera module, and the Key Island button design will remain.
This approach is a safe choice that has consistently worked well for Samsung's mid-range series over the years.
