      According to a recent research report, Honor has emerged as a strong contender in 2025 with record growth. Omdia's latest analysis reveals that the brand's shipments increased by 11% compared to the previous year, outpacing rivals such as Xiaomi, Oppo, and Vivo.

      The report highlights that global smartphone shipments rose by 2% overall, with Apple leading the market by achieving a 7% year-over-year growth and commanding 19% of the market share. Samsung closely followed with similar growth and market share numbers, while Xiaomi secured the third position with a 13% market share, despite experiencing a 2% decline in shipments.

      Although Honor didn't rank among the top five vendors, trailing just behind Vivo, Oppo, and Transsion in market share, its growth performance stood out. Omdia attributes this upward trend mainly to Honor's swift geographical expansion in the face of stiff competition in its core markets.
