After presenting its newest home power backup products at CES last week, Anker has officially introduced the Solix E10. Claiming to be the “world’s first smart hybrid whole-home backup system,” the Solix E10 integrates a smart fuel generator, battery storage, and solar input with both automatic and manual switch options, offering nearly unlimited backup capability.
According to Anker, a single Solix E10 unit can deliver up to 37.2kW of power, sufficient to start high-energy appliances like a 5-ton air conditioner. It can be combined with up to three additional units to achieve 90kWh of storage, intended to provide greater power reserves when necessary, such as during a power outage.
The Power Dock includes a 20ms automatic switch that transitions to backup power without harming connected devices. Alternatively, customers can pair the Solix E10 with a Smart Inlet Box for a more economical setup, though this option requires manual switching during outages.
The Solix E10 accepts 9kW of solar input per unit (increasing to 27kW when three units are combined). Anker states that it is compatible with all types of solar panels, including rigid, portable, and third-party AC systems. Customers can also charge the battery directly from the smart generator using a DC connection, which can extend the backup duration by up to five times compared to traditional AC generators.
Pre-orders begin today, with sales starting on February 4.
Interested consumers can pre-order the Solix E10 from Anker’s website starting today, with general sales launching on February 4. The base system, which includes an inverter and a battery, is priced at $4,299, while the system paired with the Smart Inlet Box costs $4,599.
The price rises to $5,799 for the combination of the Solix E10 and Power Dock, with the premium bundle featuring the Smart Generator priced at $7,399. All configurations come with a standard 5-year warranty, and pre-orders will receive an additional 3-year extension. Early buyers can also obtain a $500 coupon and a gift pack valued at over $1,500, including a 400W solar panel, with a mere $10 pre-order deposit.

Air purifiers have not fundamentally changed in decades, still relying on cumbersome HEPA filters, powerful fans, and consumable cartridges that need to operate continuously to be effective. This model is based on the belief that constant air circulation and filtration are the only means to purify indoor air. But is that really the case?
Introducing AirSancta®, a company that is redefining air purification through a radically new method: water. Using its proprietary NanoJet® Technology, AirSancta® harnesses nano water droplets to envelop and eliminate airborne pollutants without the need for filters, chemical additives, or consumable replacements.
One of the most intriguing developments in the solar energy sector comes from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (via EES Solar), where researchers have created 3D-printed, semi-transparent, flexible perovskite solar cells with customizable color and transparency.
Traditionally, solar panels have been blue, dark gray, or black, based on the type of panel and its manufacturing materials. While this uniform appearance is effective on rooftops where they are rarely seen, visible solar installations often clash with architectural styles or designs. This concern impacts urban dwellers not only in the United States but globally.
Twelve South has returned to CES 2026 with a product that feels more like an artful home accessory than a gadget. Their latest offering, the Valet, is a wireless charging tray designed for everyday essentials, quietly charging them while serving as an elegant leather art piece for your table. The Valet is a charging accessory you’ll want displayed, not hidden.
