Motorola's new Signature delivers flagship performance in a sleek design.
However, it may not reach the US.
Motorola has extended its Razr brand beyond flip phones with the introduction of a new book-style foldable called the Razr Fold. This device features a large 8.1-inch folding display and high-end specifications, but it's not the only attention-grabbing item at Motorola’s CES booth.
In addition to the new foldable, Motorola also presented a slim flagship device named the Motorola Signature at the trade show. Although it’s not as thin as Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge or Apple’s iPhone Air, the Signature is slimmer than most flagship phones available, measuring only 6.99mm.
Despite its slender profile, the device boasts impressive specifications, including a 6.8-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 165Hz, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, 16GB of RAM, and up to 1TB of storage. Notably, it contains a 5,200mAh silicon-carbon battery that supports fast charging at 90W wired and 50W wireless.
For photography, the Motorola Signature is equipped with a quad-camera system featuring a 50MP Sony LYT-828 main sensor, a 50MP LYT-600 telephoto sensor with 3x zoom, a 50MP ultrawide sensor with macro capabilities, and a 50MP LYT-500 front-facing camera. Additional highlights include Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the display, an IP68/69 rating for dust and water resistance, and MIL-STD-810H certification.
The Signature represents one of Motorola’s first models to provide 7 years of software support.
On the software side, the device runs Motorola’s Hello UX over Android 16. It is among the first smartphones from the company to offer seven Android OS upgrades and seven years of security updates, making it a strong choice for consumers who intend to keep their devices for an extended period.
Concerning pricing, Motorola states that the Signature will soon launch in select European markets for €999. There has been no announcement regarding its availability in the US, but it is expected to be released in the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific regions in the upcoming months.

You might avoid a higher price tag for the Galaxy S26… if you’re in the US.
The pricing narrative for Samsung's 2026 flagship is developing into a story of two markets, wherein American consumers may quietly enjoy an unexpected moment of moderation.
Samsung's Galaxy S26 has become one of the most discussed smartphone series online; however, instead of revolutionary hardware or software, the focus is on the ongoing memory crisis. Recently, Xiaomi launched its premium Ultra smartphone at a higher price than its predecessor, and the same could apply to the Galaxy S26 series—though this may not be the case for consumers in the United States.
