The forthcoming battery powerhouse phone from OnePlus has been revealed, and its appearance seems quite recognizable.
With a recognizable OnePlus design and an impressively large 9,000 mAh battery, the OnePlus Turbo appears to be tailored for those who prioritize battery life above all else.
A new smartphone from OnePlus, named the OnePlus Turbo, has emerged through a series of leaks. Android Headlines has acquired live images of the device, providing us with our first proper glimpse at it. The phone’s appearance is strikingly familiar.
The images reveal the device features a glossy rear panel with a dual-camera arrangement situated in the top left corner on a raised platform. The sides appear to be crafted from textured plastic, while the front showcases a punch-hole display with minimal and symmetrical bezels surrounding it.
The right side of the OnePlus Turbo contains the power and volume buttons, while the top features microphones and an IR blaster. At the bottom are the main speaker grill, USB-C port, and SIM tray.
If this design looks recognizable, it's because it follows the template seen in recent OnePlus models like the OnePlus 15 and OnePlus 15R. It appears the company is adopting a strategy akin to Samsung’s, maintaining a consistent design language across all of its models, from its flagship devices to mid-range offerings.
In terms of features, the OnePlus Turbo is rumored to come equipped with a 6.8-inch 1.5K OLED display that boasts a 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it may be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip, coupled with 8GB of RAM, and offering storage options of either 128GB or 256GB.
For its camera system, the anticipated device could feature a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 32MP front-facing camera. A standout feature of the device is its 9,000 mAh battery, which surpasses the combined capacity of the most popular models from Samsung and Apple.
Realistically, the battery in the OnePlus Turbo should comfortably last more than a day with regular use, turning the "two-day" battery life from a topic of discussion among enthusiasts into a realistic expectation.
However, charging may support only 80W wired capabilities, taking approximately an hour and a half for a full charge. The smartphone could ship with OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16.
Additionally, the handset seems to be an ideal option for those who place a high value on battery longevity and are willing to compromise on top-tier performance and camera capabilities. Speculatively, the OnePlus Turbo might be introduced outside of China under a different name, possibly as part of the “CE” lineup.

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A series smartphones may offer improved camera features, as indicated by recently leaked firmware regarding the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57. These leaks suggest enhanced camera hardware for both models that could improve image quality, especially in low-light situations.
As per Smartprix, the Galaxy A57 might sport a triple camera configuration, with the main camera potentially utilizing a 50MP Sony IMX906 or Samsung ISOCELL S5KGNJ sensor depending on the region. The ultra-wide camera is expected to incorporate a 13MP ISOCELL S5K3L6 sensor, while the macro camera may depend on a 5MP GalaxyCore GC05A3 sensor.
WhatsApp is working on making it more convenient for users to track their connected Apple Watch status. The platform launched its watchOS app earlier this year, allowing users to read, respond, and react to messages directly from their Apple Watch. Shortly after, a significant update added support for longer messages, voice notes, call notifications, chat history, and more. Now, the company is preparing a new feature for iPhone users to easily keep tabs on their connected Apple Watch.
According to WABetaInfo, the latest WhatsApp beta for iOS introduces a new section for connected devices within the Linked devices settings. When an Apple Watch is connected, it will appear in this section with details like the device name and connection status. Tapping on the watch will bring up a Device Info page containing the same details and instructions for unpairing the watch.
Apple has officially initiated its final holiday promotion by offering free two-hour delivery on eligible in-stock items, providing last-minute shoppers in the U.S. and Canada a way to avoid store crowds. This limited-time offer will be available until noon on December 24 in most major cities, waiving the standard $9 delivery fee. In Australia, a similar three-hour delivery service will be offered during the same period.
