Rikor has announced the release of a new laptop for business and home — the Rikor Pro 5. The device, which is already being produced at a robotic factory in Arzamas, is positioned as a balanced solution for those who value performance, mobility, and security.

The laptop is powered by an Intel Core i5-1235U processor, which should provide sufficient performance for most tasks while remaining energy-efficient. Despite an aluminum chassis that adds strength and improves heat dissipation, the device remains lightweight — it weighs 1.7 kg and is less than 19 mm thick.

A matte display with a brightness of 300 cd/m² allows comfortable work even in bright lighting, and the keyboard is backlit. An unusual feature is a hinge that allows the lid to open 180 degrees — useful for presentations or jointly viewing content.

      Minimum adapters, maximum protection

The developers focused on wide connectivity options. The laptop includes two USB-C ports, three USB-A ports, an HDMI port, a microSD card slot, and an audio jack. This eliminates the need to constantly carry a docking station or adapters. Connectivity features include not only modern Wi‑Fi 6 but also a classic RJ‑45 port for wired internet.

Special attention has been paid to security. The webcam is equipped with a mechanical shutter that physically covers the lens. A built-in fingerprint scanner is used for quick system login.

      Who is this laptop for?

As Rikor’s commercial director Maxim Ostroumov notes, the model was created as a versatile tool. It may appeal to executives who frequently work while traveling, IT specialists who need to connect multiple monitors, and employees of organizations where data security is a priority. The laptop is also being offered to individual users who combine work and personal tasks.

Sales of the Rikor Pro 5 will begin soon through the company’s partners and major online retailers.
