Adobe Premiere on iOS now offers a specific area for crafting visually striking Shorts.

Enhance your Shorts using Adobe's exclusive templates, effects, and transitions in this specialized area.

Adobe declared a collaboration with YouTube in October to introduce a new feature in its Premiere mobile app, allowing creators a dedicated space for making and publishing Shorts. At that time, the company did not provide a timeline for the release of this "Create for YouTube Shorts" area, merely stating it would be available soon on the Premiere app for iOS. This feature is now finally being launched.

In a recent blog post, Adobe announced that the new content creation space for YouTube Shorts is now operational in the Premiere mobile app for iOS. Users can access a wide range of helpful tools for producing polished YouTube Shorts, including exclusive templates, transitions, presets, effects, and more.

Adobe emphasizes that this creation space is tailored to help users easily create engaging videos, regardless of their previous experience with video editing. It features a wide array of exclusive effects, transitions, and title presets, along with numerous ready-to-use templates that creators can utilize to craft eye-catching Shorts.

Starting today, the new "Create for YouTube Shorts" feature is available in #Premiere on iPhone, loaded with exclusive templates, transitions, and effects. Edit and swiftly export your content to YouTube Shorts right away. https://t.co/w15vzg6lFx— Adobe Video (@AdobeVideo) December 8, 2025

The Shorts space also enables users to create and share original templates "to inspire others and ignite new YouTube trends," allowing for the publication of finished videos directly to YouTube Shorts with just a few taps. This new space is ideal for both seasoned creators and those beginning their YouTube Shorts journey, as it simplifies the creation process while providing access to sophisticated video editing tools, including an unlimited, multi-track timeline, studio-quality voiceover capabilities, and Firefly-powered AI features to generate unique assets.

The "Create for YouTube Shorts" space is now available in the Premiere app for iOS. You can download it for free from the App Store and select the new "Create for YouTube" option to explore Adobe's templates, effects, and transitions to elevate your Shorts. The app is currently unavailable on Android, but Adobe has previously confirmed that this is in development and may be released soon.

The company is reportedly developing custom processors, which could significantly enhance performance, battery longevity, and AI capabilities.

What’s the situation? According to Chosun Media, Samsung has officially restructured a portion of its semiconductor division and created a dedicated Custom SoC Development Team. This signifies a departure from simply licensing standard ARM CPU cores. In its place, Samsung is investing in developing its own chip architecture, including CPU cores, AI/Neural units, and system-on-chip (SoC) design. This initiative aims to position Samsung alongside companies like Apple and Qualcomm, who have long embraced custom silicon strategies. The new team operates within Samsung’s System LSI division, with SoC expert Park Bong‑il appointed to lead the initiative.
